Never Mind About The Shape I'm In

Mr. Graham is still taking attendance when I come in. He doesn't seem to notice me so I go to sit in my usual seat in the back of the class right next to Gee and closest to the back door.Gerard is sitting right next to it like he usually does, but I'm tired of same.

I sit three seats away from Gerard at a desk with some kid. He doesn't seem to notice me next to him, so I poke him. The dude pulls his headphones down, so they rest on his shoulder and turns to me.

"Whatcha want?" He huffs.

"To say hi." I pause waiting for him to return the greeting.

"Mission accomplished." is his response as he pulls his headphones back up. "

Jeez, someone's sassy.
