Fifty Shades of Way

***Gerard's POV***

I looked at her in disbelief. "A-are you serious?" I muttered. She took my hand in hers, and nodded.

"One hundred percent, positive." she smiled. A wave of happiness came over me, and I crashed my lips onto hers. Her soft lips on mine just felt so natural. Almost as if they were made for each other. After a few minutes, I disconnected our lips, and took her hand in mine, leading her inside my house. She plopped down on the couch, and I sat next to her, with our arms interlocked.

"Movie time?" she asked. I nodded my head, and popped the DVD, into the player. Once I sat back down, she snuggled up next to me, leaning her head on my lap. I gently stroked her hair, and the movie began.

****3 days later****

I waked through the hallway, on my way to chem, which was last period. Thank god. Today has just been a shitty day. First, I get to school late, and have to get a late pass. One more of those, and my late ass will be sitting in detention. Then, I found out I failed my history test. I was expecting that though, so it wasn’t that shocking. Thirdly, I couldn't find Gerard anywhere, so I had to eat lunch in the bathroom. Not like that’s a new thing, but I was looking forward to eating with him. Lastly, I got more shit from Danny, Jaclyn, and Victoria. Fuck them. They can burn in hell for all I care.

After what seemed like hours of walking through the halls, I finally found myself outside the chem lab. Hopefully Gerard could make my day better.

The moment I walk into the classroom, my eyes widened. I see no sign of Gerard. Only a substitute. Now that's weird. Gerard's never out. I sighed, and slowly made my way to the back of the class, and took my seat.

"Can I see, uh, Ivy Wilde?" the sub announced from the front of the class. I groaned to myself, and dragged my feet to the front. Everyone's eyes trailed on me, making me feel even more uncomfortable. This is why I fucking hate people.

"Mr. Way wanted me to give you this." the sub said, handing me a folded paper. I nodded and took it from his hands, heading back to my seat. Once I was seated I unfolded the note on my lap, making sure no one else could read it.

-Ivy, meet me at my house after school. I need you.-

I furrowed my eyebrows, and stuffed the note back into my pocket.

"Hey, Ivy, right?" the guy in front of me said, turning around.

"Uh, yeah." I avoided eye contact.

"What's up with you and Gerard. Are you guys like a thing?" my eyes widened, and I immediately shook my head.

"W-What makes you think that?"

"I dunno. He always calls you after class. Don't you think it's a little weir-"

"No! I-I mean n-no." I cut him off. I realized I had yelled, and the entire class heard me. My face went completely red, and I sunk into my seat.

"Alright. I was just wondering. No need to get defensive." the guy rolled his eyes, and turned back around. Whatever.

The sub then walked around the room, handing everyone a worksheet. I tried my best to concentrate, but all I could think about was that note. What does he want to talk about? Then, my mind trailed off to that night when we exchanged 'I love you's'. It was just perfect. My insides grew warm and fuzzy just thinking about it. I got so lost in thought, I didn't even realized the sub was yelling at me to begin my work. I rolled my eyes, and began the assigned work.

The class seemed to have gone on forever, but finally, the bell rang. I leaped out of my seat, and ran to the parking lot, getting in my car. I clutched the note in my pocket, and read it one more time, before speeding off to Gerard's house.
