Summary
15 year old Alison Frank visited America for the first time in her life with her parents. Not knowing the area, a few wrong turns take them to Detroit, one of the toughest cities in the state. Lost and scared, Alison soon finds that she was separated from her parents, and days later saw a news headline that they were murdered. She is now left, homeless and alone, to fend for herself in a strange country with strange people. Read to find out how she gets herself back up on her feet.
