Life isn't fair

As the day went on the humans grew weary of my ever being presence. I knew this would soon lead to more exploration as they thought if they explore one of the infinite number of doors might hold a secret befitting for them. How they can't just think. It is the easiest solution yet they will never understand for they do not hold the capability to slow down and observe what lie around them.

Gerard holds his hands around Frank. He whispers sweet nothings as he tries to calm the frantic man who just opened a bizarre door that led to a funny room (for lack of a better word). As Frank opened the door he was exposed to a horror of quite the magnitude. He saw a memory from his recent years. This memory is particularly dark though. He sees the day that Gerard announced the bands break up. He relives all the feelings he went through that day. Everything that he never wanted to remember was played before him. He had to bare witness to it for a second agonizing time. Little do the men know this is a room to open the eyes of Gerard not Frank. Frank still has time to discover as to why he is here.

Billie has looked into quite the door. As he opens it the door reveals a crowd of hundreds. Up upon the stage far off in the distant is a band. Billie walks into the room with awe and wonder. As he enters he is greeted with a foul stench he has smelled far too often. He begins to push and shove through the mass as he has done multiple times previously. As he gets up beside the stage he lays claim to an event that should have gotten him jail time but being famous has it's perks. Billie can see himself. He yells,
"What you wanna fight me? Get up here on stage fight me!" Billie remembers this day all to well. He remembers how the adrenaline felt coursing through his shallow veins. The punk in the crowd refused to fight him up on stage so he did what he thought was either 'cool' or the 'correct action'. Billie dove feet first into the crowd landing on the punk who was belittling him. His converse collided with the young mans rib-cage breaking three ribs. He got a call from the hospital in which the man apologized for his rude drunken behavior but pride would not let Billie be brought to his knees and apologize in return. Strange how he never realized how much he hated himself for that night until this moment. That night kids thought of him as a punk icon. He was so sure that he had done the right thing in the given situation but he had not. He was just some douche who was the reason a kid was in pain for months with a few broken ribs. He knew he was no role model but when had he gotten this bad? When did he jump off the deep end? He really did need to re-asses his life. Billie left the crowd behind to exit the door, though when he did he walked into his own bedroom to find his sleeping wife beside him. How had this happened he thought? For now he was just happy to be home.

Back in the castle though the announcement must be made.
"Today Billie has left the castle. He has discovered the error of his ways and was returned to his wife who still slept in the calm of the night that he was taken."

Ryan stood up, "So, how does one find this enlightenment?"
The others agreed with some 'yeahs' or nodding of their heads. I feel sorry for them as they very little understand the complexity of their situation and I am not fortunate enough to be obliged to divulge such extreme information. I wish I could sigh at a time like this.
"You must discover that yourself. Ryan you are aware of that." I responded in the same monotonous voice as it ever was.

Each walked off to different areas. I find humans to be odd creatures. They want something so desperately but seem little willing to actually work for what they so desperately wish for. They must work to see what has been eluding them for oh so long. Humans are dimwitted creatures at time, inferior to the world that has evolved around them.
