Life isn't fair

Chapter 10

The day begins with news for the others who do not wake. Each one snores, breathes or softly mutters words. Everything with in this castle seems quieter, but that is to only intensify how mad it makes you become. Lightly the sun beams through the windowpanes on the eastern wing of the castle and the tenants begin to rise with the gleaming light.

Gerard unfurls from around Frank's smaller body and kisses between his shoulder blades. A soft kiss on Frank's tender pink lips will wake him surely. Gerard leans in but as he does the soft hazel eyes that are always so full of wonder belonging to Frankie are gazing at him widely this soft morning. Time is nothing here and maybe that is what drives the humans to take in this territorial mating.

Ray is quiet as he rises and walks directly to the door. He sees Tre beginning his walk down the hallway for food. Ray whispers to him softly,
"Hey, um Tre... could I room with you sense we both are solo? I'm really terrified of this place. Sorry."
"No, Ray that is completely fine. I'm a bit creeped out here as well."
"Thank's man."
They both continued walking to find food.

Mikey nuzzles his head farther into Pete's chest and whispers,
"How could she love me, if I don't even love me?"
Pete opened his eyes slowly. He saw the sad look upon Mikey's thin face and caressed his hair slowly. He whispered,
"One must love ourselves before we can be loved by others."
Mikey began to cry softly into Pete's chest fully aware that Pete was correct.

Andy was not speaking anymore. He had shut down completely so it did not surprise Joe that Andy had disappeared when he woke from his horrific dreams. His panting breath was only matched by his sweat soaked clothing. He groaned from pain in his back as he attempted to leave his own bed. With a bit of luck Joe had stood up and changed his clothing to hide his fear that no one else need see.

Hayley never came to bed last night. She had wandered far and wide. Her first sight was a large blue door that reminded her of her father's mother's house. It had the same half split that allow the bottom to swing separate from the top half. She was nervous but pushed the door open with one fluid motion. She entered with caution hoping to not see that woman behind the door. Could her eyes deceive her as so? In the room was not her grotesque grand-mum but it was Hayley standing in her place. She wore that putrid dress that grand-mum had adored but Hayley believed it looked like a cheap frock. Hayley looked on in horror. When had she become her grand-mum. She always thought her grand-mum acted younger than her age and it was embarrassing to say the least. Had Hayley been acting younger than what she really was. She had been refusing to grow up even in the slightest as she did not ever want to be old like she had seen her grand-mum become. Hayley walked into the new form of herself in front of her. As the two joined to become one she was placed back in her beloved house. Her small cat sat on the windowsill purring softly. The relief Hayley felt was comparable to nothing.
Mike woke and had the over whelming feeling he no longer had a roommate.

Spencer groaned as he stood up knocking Jon of the opposite side of the bed. He giggled lightly as Jon gave him his angry grunt that turned into some kind of whining noise. Nostalgia lay over top the two old friends like a thick comforter. Jon lunged at Spencer from over the bed and kissed his lips with a strong desperation. Jon pulled Spencer down on top of him as they lay on the bed. They began to move passionately with one another as the day grew on they grew together.

Today was the first day that Josh and Tyler could think clearly though neither was in any shape to leave the confines of their room. Tyler crawled into Josh's bed and whispered,
"My head hurts as though a thousand pins were pricking into it at once Josh. Please make it stop."
Josh rubbed Tyler's head whispering sweet nothings trying to calm his aching mind and dull or ease the pain.

Ryan muffled a cry as to not wake Brendon who held him close. Ryan had wish he had not heard Brendon the night before. Feigning sleep was an awful decision as no he felt a swelling pain in his heart like never before. Leaving the band had hurt enough, but to bring back all those painful memories tortured his already broken soul. Ryan whispered to the quaint Brendon,
"If I had known how to love you then, I never would have fled from what may have been the best thing in my life."
Brendon smiled softly but it was bittersweet knowing they could never be together again.
"I wish you had too Ryan."
As the words were uttered they filled the air with filth. It was not awkward but full of remorse. Ryan glanced down at his legs, but Brendon pulled Ryan's chin up so their eyes met and softly pushed their lips together. At first neither moved even in the slightest and then something sparked so sweetly that they were pulled together by some outside force. Everything felt okay if just for an instant.

Dallon sat at the table starring at an empty plate expecting food to just appear before him. He smiled at the thought of his wife when something drew his attention elsewhere. He looked out to see a door like no other he had seen. It was a soft shade of blue almost like the front door of his house. The small round window was even the same. Could this be? Was he delusional? Maybe so. Dallon opened the door and whispered,
"Why this?"
Inside the door was a scene from his childhood. His mother smiled sweetly,
"Don't worry honey one day you will be a rock star."
Dallon smiled then felt a tear slip. Why had he never apprieciated how sweet his mother was. She was so supportive of his unreachable dreams. He would from now on take better care of his all loving mother and treat her with more respect, visit her more frequently. As the thoughts passed through his mind he saw the scene shift. Dallon saw Breezy along with his son and daughter on the floor of their living room playing games. He rushed toward them picking up his daughter and swinging her around as she giggled. He laughed with her in relief.

The bond between humans is not easily broken. The human spirit brings a light to each of their lives that keeps them strong. A fight worth fighting for is that of life. Anyone can be a hero as soon as their human survival instincts do kick in.
