Today I woke up feeling like crap. Almost to the point where I didn't even want to get put of bed. But I sucked it all up and headed for the shower. I only took a quick shower because I woke up later than usual. Which sadly kind of sucked.

I went to my room and started getting dressed. I grabbed a t-shirt out of out my closet, not caring what shirt it was, and threw it on. I grabbed a pair of my pants from my dresser and slid them on. I didn't even feel like doing my hair so I just threw it into a pony tail. I took a look at my self in the mirror. I sighed in disgust of my self.

I grabbed my backpack off of my bed and headed down the stairs. I noticed my mom was sleeping on the couch so I went over and kissed her on her forehead grabbing the blanket that was draped over the couch and laid it across her body. A small appeared on her face. I quietly left the house shutting the door behind me. Ray wasn't out there waiting for me this morning. He already told me that he was going to stay home anyways. It's a good thing that school isn't that far away.

I pulled out my iPod and managed to get my headphones untangled. I popped them into my ears. I hit the shuffle button not caring what song played or what song came next and turned the volume up as loud as it could go.

"Hi Gerard!" I heard a high pitched girly voice. I turned around to see that it was my ex girlfriend Delilah.

"Uh..hi Delilah." I said while running my fingers through my hair.

"How are you?" she said while swaying back and forth. I think it's cute when she does that.

"Umm.. To be honest I've been kinda crappy. How about you? How have you been"

"Oh. I've been about the same. Just been thinking about things lately. You know?"

"Thinking about what?"

"Us..." she said as she looked away from me and looked at the ground.

"Oh..what about us?"

"I really miss you Gee.. I can't get you out of my head. Everything reminds me of you. When I
see you in the hallways I just think to myself how perfect you and me could be if we were still together. I miss being Gee's baby girl.." Tears started forming in her eyes. I took my to index fingers and placed them under her chin and lifted her head up so that she was looking at me.

"I miss you too Delilah. I only did this because life was getting to hard and I didn't want to hurt you. You'll still forever be my baby girl. At least in my heart you will be." I let go of her chin and slowly kissed her on her forehead and pulled her into a hug.

"I love you, Gee." she said as she hugged me tighter.

"I love you too, Delilah." I placed my head on top of hers.
