Teenagers

“You’re completely head over heals in love with him.” Ray says to me in the kitchen while i got a glass of water. “I can see it in your eyes and the way you look at him.”

“I am not..in love with him…”. I say leaned up against the kitchen counter looking at Ray.

“Don’t even lie to me” Ray chuckles. He walks over to me and puts a hand on my shoulder and looks at me. “I’m pretty sure that if you talked to him about it...or you know spend more time with him...he could end up liking you back”.

I rolled my eyes as I watched Ray walk away. I shortly followed him to the living room where Frank was just sitting there staring at a wall. Ray decided to sit in my chair so that i was forced to sit on the couch next to Frank. I end up sitting on the other end of the couch which wasn’t to far away from him.
Ray put in another movie and sat right back down in his little. Ray looked at me, then looked at Frank, then back at me and gave me a little half smirk. I rolled my eyes and looked over at Frank. He was looking back at me. He quickly looked away but I continued to look at him. He was still perfection to me. I couldn’t help myself.

Half way through the movie I noticed Frank was getting sleepy. It was kind of adorable. WIthout really thinking I grabbed a nearby couch pillow and set it on the side of my lap and tapped Frank on the arm. He looked at me with a confused look when I pointed to the pillow. “Lay down” I said to him. He gave me a little smile and fixed himself so that he was comfortable enough. Ray gave me the weirdest look but I just gave him the ‘pretend you don’t see any of this’ look. When the movie finished I noticed that frank fell asleep.

Frank Iero...fell asleep on my lap.

I tell Ray to contact Frank’s parents to tell them that Frank is sleeping over. I carefully pull out my phone to text my mom that i was staying at Ray’s. It wasn’t a school night so I don’t think she would care that much about me staying at Ray’s.

Not to long after I pull up the footrest on the couch and lay back on fall asleep with Frank still sound asleep on my lap.
