prologue
the atmosphere was tense in the household of the Ravenscroft's.
Valentina sat at the side of her fathers bed, " daddy please don't leave me alone." the girl sobbed. her father struggled " my sweet Valentina you will never be alone. you will have the maids and chef. Most importantly you will have your mate, when you find them.me and your mother will always watch over you. i have one thing i want you to do.... find real friends the people you call friends are using you my darling i want you to be happy." after the speech Damien Ravenscroft drew his last breathe and was reunited with his wife Mallory Ravenscroft.
a week later
today was the funeral of Damien. Valentina was dressed in a simple black dress, a black coat. she carried a bouquet of red rosses to put on the grave of her parents.
she arrived and took her seat at the front of the cathedral.
half way through the service Valentina had to make her speech about her father.
"my father was a good man, i loved him with all my heart. he taught me everything i know. today isn't a sad day its the day my father and mother have been reunited. my father missed my mother a lot but he didn't show it he remained strong for me. i can tell my father is now happy because he can spend the rest of his after life with his wife. He will always be remembered as a strong leader and a fun guy."
she was about to get off the alter when she seen people she hadn't seen in along time.
" aunt Linda uncle frank is that you." she ran off the alter to the couple and had them in a tight embrace. she let go of her aunt and uncle and said " where's Frankie." linden replied " franklin is outside at your mothers grave."
she ran out of the church door and went out to the cemetery to find her only cousin frank jr. "Frankie!!" the boy turned around and ran to Valentina "Val !!!" he pulled her in a tight embrace and span her around.
frank said " your dad left my mom the family company we are going to live with you." valentine smiled and said " I'd love that it's really lonely at the house.
the coffin containing her father left the church and was getting buried next to Mrs Ravenscroft.
once the soil had been laid over her fathers grave she knelt down and laid the roses down between the two graves and said " so long and good night gone but never forgotten. she kissed the two head stones and left the cemetery to go home and cry her self to sleep
