***5 Weeks Later***

***Gerard's POV***

It had been five weeks since the whole soup kitchen incident and I was feeling a tad bit better. I was leaving my room without the help of Karie or Bryan and I was socializing as well. The only issue was Mikey. He wasn't answering any of my calls and I had no idea where he was. It made me mad considering we were brothers. Why did he have to be so protective over Iris? I know what I did was wrong, but five weeks was a long time to ignore me. I sighed and headed downstairs. Bryan was already at school and Karie went out with Cece so I was home alone. I laid on the couch and grabbed the box of cereal from the side table. I stuck my hand in the Lucky Charms and threw them in my mouth. You know what I needed? A haircut. And a dye. I needed a new hairstyle. That would change up everything. I was to lazy to find a phone and call Karie so I left her a note in messy hand writing.

I grabbed another handful of Lucky Charms and ran out the door to get my hair dyed. I was excited to change up my style and dye my hair. I grinned and ran to my car. I jumped in and drove off. I wanted to surprise Karie. How could I surprise her? What color would she never expect?

White. I was totally going white. I grinned at my decision and parked in the spot closest to the hair place. Luckily it was a weekday so the place was empty. I opened the door and the bells rung. A lady stuck her head up out of a magazine and grinned at me.

"JO WE GOT BUSINESS!" The lady screamed which signaled another lady to pop her head out of the back. She grinned at me as well and I flinched. I walked up to the desk and bit my lip.

"I want a cut and a dye," I twiddled my thumbs.

"What color hun?" The lady chewed her gum while talking to me. I flinched and shivered. I HATED that noise. It was so obnoxious. I shook my head and concentrated again.

"White." I licked my lips and flashed her a smile. She nodded and typed something down. I stood there awkwardly as she clicked her gum and the keyboard. I could feel my anxiety get the best of me. I started to shift uncomfortably as both the ladies grinned at me.

"Sit down hun." She pushed me back. I sat on my chair and slumped.

"Where are you from?" She spit out her gum. Finally.

"Umm summit NJ." I didn't know why I told her the truth. It was a stupid mistake. She could come to my house and murder me now.

"Cute place. Your place is ready." She nodded at the other lady who pointed at the seats. If I didn't know better I thought they were trying to capture me. I slowly went over and sat down. I wasn't ready for a change anymore.

I looked in the mirror with excitement. My hair was now almost buzzed and it was completely white. I needed to tweet this right now. I couldn't though considering Karie had my twitter. Fuck I needed to wait. I wasn't a waiting person. Whatever. I drove home to see Karie's car pulled up. A smile plastered on my face. I ran up to the door and rung the doorbell.

"I'll get it Karie!" I heard Cece scream. Yes! She wouldn't be the first to see. I bit my lip as Cece opened the door. I put my finger to her lips and winked at her.

"Who's at the door?!" I heard Karie scream from the kitchen.

"I'm home!" I screamed.

"What the fuck Gee? Why didn't you just open the door? Did you loose your keys again? I'll slap you if you di-" she stopped mid-sentence and covered her mouth. I grinned at her expression. She screamed into her hands which signaled Bryan to come. He ran downstairs with fear on his face. He saw me and his fear turned to excitement.

"Gee's hair is white! Gee's hair is white!" He started to chant and run around in circle. I laughed and pulled Karie into a hug. She didn't hug back right away, but slowly hugged back.

"I love you," I whispered in her ear.
