***5 weeks later***

***Karie's POV***

Over these past few weeks Gerard wasn't his normal self. I think it had to do with the whole Iris break up scene. I knew that Mikey and him weren't on good terms either. To top it off his mom told him that it was his fault. His mom was his 'go to' person and she turned him down. Imagine the pain. I knew one thing though. Bryan and I were here for him. While Iris and Mikey were being self coincided jerks, Bryan and I were comforting him. Obviously it wasn't enough to bring his mom back to normal. He was coped up in the guest room. He didn't feel comfortable sleeping with me considering he broke up with Iris. I understood the idea of his thoughts though. I didn't act like it bothered me, even though it did. Gerard was mine now and I didn't want him to sleep alone. I needed him with ME and I didn't want him to fall for any other girl. I'm rambling now. Goddammit.

"Karie!" I heard Bryan scream. I ran downstairs to see Bryan snuggled on the couch. Considering it was Saturday, he didn't have school. He was going on a play date though which I found quite cute. I wasn't sure who the parents were, but I knew the child. He had came over the other day, but his nanny picked him up.

"Yes little bud," I slid next to him. Bryan looked at me and grinned. I raised an eyebrow at him and he grinned wider. What was this little boy up too?

"I thought of a way we can get Gerard back to normal Gerard!" He exploded with happiness. Now I was 100% listening. Bryan normally had good ideas. He was a really fucking smart kid and I didn't care what anyone else though.

"We bring him back to the soup kitchen. Remember the one where my mom and I used to go?" He said so calmly. Bryan was so calm about his mom dying, but I think he didn't know what was going on until after the death. He was littler then, but it made him wiser.

"Alright. We can try that," I decided to give it a shot. It wasn't a bad idea at all actually. It would raise his spirits and he would forget all about Iris. He didn't need her in his mind when he had Bryan and I.

"Let's go get him," I grabbed Bryan's hand and ran up the stairs. We knocked on Gerard's door and he opened it.

"We have a surprise for you!" Bryan screamed. Gerard looked like he had just came out of a hurricane. He was growing a beard and was stinking of cigs. It wasn't a good look or smell for him.

"But first you need to wash up and brush your hair," I tapped the mop on top of his head. He nodded and went into the bathroom. Step one was complete.

***

"Are we almost there?" Gerard complained. His voice was groggy and he sounded sick. I hated seeing him like this.

"Just be quiet and wait," Bryan ordered. I couldn't help but laugh. It was funny seeing a five year old order around a twenty year old. Don't judge me.

"Alright we are here," I grinned as Gerard removed the blindfold. He looked at the soup kitchen with amusement.

"I just want to write music and draw. I don't need to serve random poor people. Let's go home," Gerard sounded drunk. He wasn't though. There was no alcohol in his room. Was there? If Gerard was getting drunk behind our backs I would cry.

"Gerard we are going to do this whether you like it or not," I grabbed his hand and dragged it out of the car. He groaned the whole time which was pissing me off. I wasn't in the mood to deal with Gerard on his period.

"Get over the hormonal teenage years and walk on your own," I dropped him on his butt. He rubbed his butt before standing on his own.

"You owe me big time," Gerard started to put on gloves.

"Fine," I grinned to myself.

We were going to get old Gee back.
