Aww Pickles, My Neighbor is A Hottie

***Gerard’s POV***
Once we got back on the tour bus, I immediately headed to my bunk. I just need to be alone. God knows what people will think of me now. I laid down on the bunk, and rolled over so I was facing the wall.
“G-Gerard? Uh, can I speak with you?” I heard Mikey ask. I sighed, and stared at the wall before rolling myself back over, facing him.
“Can you wait a bit? I just need to be alone. I have a lot on my mind, and I need to clear it. We can talk in about an hour.”
“No, Gerard. It’s important, please. It won’t take me too long, I just need to get something off my chest.” I groaned, and eyed him, signaling him for him to continue. “Well, uhm I-I know you’re gonna be pissed, but uh, I-I kinda released that picture…” he mumbled. My eyes widened as I stared at him with disbelief.
“That’s bullshit. Mikey, you wouldn’t.” my voice grew with anger.
“I’m really sorry, but I did.”
“Why?!”
“Because! I dunno. I just needed to know Karie was out of the picture.”
“So you decided to make me look like some fucking player? Really? Just cause you don’t like my ex? Mikey, we aren’t even dating anymore! Didn’t you even think of what people are going to think of me? I mean god dammit, why would you do that? I told you, I’ve moved on, and I have. No more Karie. Done. Karie, and I are over forever!” I roared. My face was red with anger, and I could feel my insides boil. I slammed my head back onto my pillow, and rolled myself over facing away from my brother. I couldn’t even look at him right now. I heard him sigh, and leave the room.
A few minutes later, I heard quiet footsteps coming towards me. I rolled my body over, facing Iris who looked at me with apologetic eyes.
“Don’t be mad, Gee. I hate seeing you like this.” She frowned. I sighed, and stared into her eyes, and slowly nodded my head.
“It’s just frustrating, you know? I mean, god, why is Mikey so adamant about getting Karie out of my life? I barley even speak to her anymore. I mean, it’s clear. Karie and I are just never gonna get back together. I don’t know what else I can do to make that clear to him.”
“Just give it time. Everything will work out, Gee. I promise.” She looked up at me, and gave me a warm smile which made my insides flutter. No matter how mad I was, I couldn’t help but smile when I look at her. Something about her just makes me feel complete. I returned the smile, and patted my chest, motioning for her to accompany me in my bunk. She climbed up, and snuggled close to me, leaning her head on my chest.
“How do you do it?” I whispered
“Do what?”
“Do what no one else can’t. I mean, I was just in the worst mood possible, and now look at me.” I said into her hair. She turned to face me, and I could see how red her cheeks were. I chuckled, and pulled her closer, resting my head in the crook of my neck. “You know, I wanna ask you something.” I said into her ear.
“Anything.”
“Would you, uh, you know. Be- be my girlfriend?” her face beamed as she nodded frantically, wrapping her arms around my neck, and planting her lips on mine. I grinned into the kiss, and snaked my arms around her waist, pulling her body on top of myself. She giggled, and broke the kiss, staring into my eyes.
“I-I love you..” she whispered. My eyes widened, and face lit up. It was as if I’ve been waiting since the day I met her for her to say that. I grabbed her petite hand in mine, giving it a light squeeze.
“I love you too, Iris. I really do.”
