Aww Pickles, My Neighbor is A Hottie

***Gerard's POV***

"Wake up lazy ass!" Mikey screamed up the stairs. I moaned in anger and resentment. I rolled over, so my head was in the pillow. A weight came onto my back. I moaned louder. I had forgotten that Iris had slept over. She wrapped her arms around my neck and kissed my cheek. I blushed into the pillow.

"Morning sleepyhead." She put her head on my chest. I laughed into my pillow. I could not get enough of this girl. She was someone I would never mind waking up to every morning. If I ever woke up. I was to tired to do anything, but I had to pack to go on tour. We had to be in the office tomorrow, and I wasn't even close to ready.

"You want to go out for breakfast?" She got up and I turned. She was going through my drawers in wonder. What was she doing? She pulled out a pair of sweatpants and a Smashing Pumpkins shirt.

"You don't mind if I borrow this? Oh thanks baby." She blew me a kiss, which sent my brain on a roller coaster, and headed into my bathroom. I laughed and grabbed skinny jeans and a gray tee. I would match her, but that would be a weird thing to see. I started to undress in the room hoping she wouldn't walk in. I threw on my boxers and skinny jeans first. After I threw on the tee and sat on the bed. Around two minutes later Iris walked out with over-sized sweats on.

"I borrowed your boxers too." She pulled down the sweats a little to prove it. I rolled my eyes and she stuck out her tongue at me.

"So lets hit the road. I am so goddamn hungry." She grabbed my hand and we ran out of the house. Ray and Frank were sitting on the couch while Mikey was cooking some breakfast. We passed them with no words and headed outside.

"Why don't you ever like to talk to them?" I titled my head. She lifted her shoulders in a 'no reason' way and headed towards my car. She jumped in to it and I followed her. It was quiet calm ride. I felt so relaxed and non-stressed out. I haven't felt this good in months. We got to the diner and went straight inside.

"How does this work?" Iris gave a dumbfounded face. I rolled my eyes at her cuteness.

"You order and pay here, and then they seat you." I showed her. She made an 'o' face and picked up a menu.

"I want chocolate chip pancakes with coffee." She handed me a twenty dollar bill. I shook my head and handed it back to her.

"I'll pay. Imagine it as a second date." I bit my lip.

"Oh my god! Yay! A date with Gerard Way!" She did a fake fan-girl impression. I laughed at her. We ordered the food and paid. We sat on at the barish thing. We made small talk while waiting for our food.

"Gerard!!" Someone squealed in delight. Oh fuck. Not now. No, no, no. I turned to see Bryan running towards me. Oh shit. He tackled me. I sighed. No hiding Iris now. Once again I had totally forgotten about Karie and Bryan. Face palm.

"Hi Gerard." A too familiar voice overcame me.

"Hi Karie." I almost whispered.

"Who's this?" She leaned against the barish thing. I bit my lip. I mean better tell her now or I wont lat-

"I'm Gerard's date. Well new friend. We went on a date last night and I guess this is our second date. Who are you?" Iris said so nonchalantly. Oh fucking great. I let Bryan down just in case a fight started.

"Oh. That's nice Gerard," Karie eyed me with pain and anger, "I'm Gerard's ex." She spat at Iris. I slowly started to get up.

"That's nice. I am sorry for the break up. I hope you guys are still friends. If Gerard doesn't want to date me, well I would at least want to be his friend. He is someone who I have so much in common with." She gave her such a huge smile. I couldn't stop liking this girl. She didn't give two shits about Karie being my ex.

Bryan was eyeing both Iris and Karie. He glared at Iris while giving sympathy eyes to Karie. Oh please Bryan, don't say anything mean. Please be nice. Please be quit. You must have learned 'if you can't say something nice don't say anything at all' in school. It was a basic factor. Please please please.

"I like Karie more. She is prettier and has normal hair. She also makes Gerard happier. Duh." Bryan stormed off. I felt my cheeks go red. Karie raced off to save Bryan. Why Bryan why?

"Aw. The things kid say. So why did you and Karie break up?" Iris grinned at me. What? She wasn't even mad. She was so calm about everything. How can she stay so calm? I wanted that talent.

"Oh we got in a fight. She said I cheated on her and I didn't." I twiddled my thumbs.

"Why didn't she believe you? I might not know you that well, but your trustworthy. I can see it in your eyes." She winked at me. I blushed and laughed. We finished our food and headed outside. Karie and Bryan were gone. I felt bad for chasing them out with another girl.

But I had feelings for this other girl, and there was no doubt in that now.
