***Karie's POV***

***A Few Days Later***

"So you are going to stay at your house for the next week?" I tried not to pout. Gerard nodded and gave me a weak smile. I flashed him a weak smile back.

"I'm only a few minutes away." He put his hand behind his head and bit his bottom lip.

"It's not the same. It won't be loud through out the house. There won't be explosions in the kitchen. There won't be a warm cuddly body in my bed Gerard. I'm your teddy bear remember? Well your mine too. How am I supposed to sleep without my teddy bear?" I pulled him close to me. He restd his chin on my head.

"I won't be away for long okay? You will survive." He kissed my forehead. He unconnected himself from me and picked up his bag. He started to leave the house. It felt like he was leaving for another country even though he was a few seconds away. He turned around and winked at me.

"I love you." He grinned at me and closed the door with his foot. I felt wooziness overcome me. Did he really just say that? Did he really just tell me he loved me? I knew Gerard and I knew him well. He didn't like those words because they were only meant for the special few. Was I part of the special few?

"Where is Gerard going?" Bryan came down the stairs in his onsie. He wiped his eyes and yawned. Poor Bryan. Always getting up to early for anyone. I wouldn't be awake right now if Gerard wasn't leaving.

"He went home." I frowned. I felt bad for Bryan. Him and Gerard had gotten really close. He shrugged off my comment. I raised an eyebrow as he walked off to the kitchen. He poured himself some cereal and started to eat.

"You don't care?" I sat across from him.

"No, he de-" He started.

"Wait till you finish chewing please." I closed my eyes and looked away. He chewed and swallowed.

"I am sad. It's just, he deserves to see him mommy and his family. They love him too you know." He continued to eat. Big words from a small man. I swear this kid was going to be the next Buddha.

"Good to know bud." I patted his head and headed towards my room. I decided to hang out with Cece. I called her cell and no one picked up. Oh yay. Now I'm alone. I had Bryan, but he needed sometime to himself. I laid in bed and crawled into a ball.

"Shit! Shit. Shit!" I heard someone scream. I turned to see Gerard tangled in vines. What the fuck? I turned around to see I was floating on my bed. Things were getting weirder by the minute. I turned back to see Gerard was gone. I climbed to the edge of the bed to see if he had fallen. Nope. Just vast space. I turned to see Bryan right behind me. He grinned and pushed me. I screamed and tried to grab the bed, but it disappeared. I was falling into nothingness. I looked down. Nothing, and yet I still screamed. What was happening?

***Bryan's POV***

"What is happening?" I whispered to myself as I shook Karie violently. She was screaming and twisting and turning in her sleep. I couldn't do anything to help either. I climbed on top of her and kept shaking her. No reaction. Time for plan B. I ran into the bathroom and filled a small cup full of water. I'm sorry Karie, but this has to be done. I ran into her room and threw the water in her face. She sat up and looked around. I waved my hands to make sure she was awake.

"Why did you splash me with water at 4AM?" She glanced at the clock.

"You were screaming and it scared me." I gave her my best puppy dog eyes. She frowned.

"You should go back to sleep. It's really late Bryan." She flashed me a smile. I nodded and headed towards the door.

"Wait." She looked at me with fear in her eye.

"Yes?" I would do anything for this woman.

"Do you think you can sleep with me tonight?"
