I Always Had My Doubts

Meet Me By The River

I've tried to explain
what goes on in my head
the mood swings
the up downs
something I can't understand
alone
lonely
I can't breathe quite right
ringing in my ears from all my sleepless nights
I search for the drinks to drown myself in
I devour anything that makes me numb
pill after wretched pill trying to play dumb
to the fact that I am alone
and I cry by myself
when its silent and still
I refuse to believe life is anything but a hill
I am the Jill to the Jack
Rolling the wrong way through life
Its not something I'll deny
Why
Why
Why
Climb
when there is no where to go but a grave
why
why
why
behave
when there is nothing permanent
Meet me by the river
when its six and the leaves look orange in the setting sun
Burry me in sticks
and we'll have a lot of fun
drown out all my sorrows
with the ring of your guitars
Nothing is eternal,
but you are
imprinted on my memories
and everything I think
You are here for infinity
your name will not be forgot
Mine shall be lost among seas not seen or heard
The unsung Morrisey
You win. You win. I bid you farewell
As I fall
down
down
down the well

For someone who rarely gets uneasy over stuff like this, I must say these two poems shook me to the core. This is beautiful.
