What If They Find Out
Mikey to the rescue!
I sat on his bed patiently waiting for him to return. He said that he was going to go get some dinner for the both of us. I felt slightly abandoned now that he was gone though.
Being pissed at Gerard sucks.
I was pissed because he dragged me to his house,
because he didn't even care that he was hurting me when he grabbed my arm,
because he wouldn't even tell me what was wrong with my arm,
because he didn't even ask to clean the cuts,
because he wouldn't let me go home.
At that moment he opened the door and walked in, interrupting my thoughts. "Here you go," he said tossing me a granola bar and a peanut butter sandwich. I scarfed down the sandwich in four bites. Then I began to slowly open the granola bar.
I looked up at him. His brown hair, and the shining eyes that were hidden behind rectangular glassed were what made him, him.
He was Mikey Way.
I had always envied Mikey in a way. He had a girlfriend, well sort of. He had a lot of friends. And he had an older brother to protect him.
Thinking of his older brother got me upset again. My hands clenched into fists and my eyes began to water.
Mikey looked over. "Hey, dude, chill out. Gerard never meant to hurt you. It's just the cuts worried him. He loves you and he just wants to protect you. That's why he cleaned your arm without much thought, and why he had you stay with us. Gee worries about you. Why do you think he offered to tutor you when you were failing. Gerard really does care," he said trying to calm me down.
I thought about theses things for a while. Gerard loves me that much? I thought to myself. I decided that maybe I should forgive him.
I stood up and walked to the door. I had no idea where I was going, but the house wasn't that big. I could figure it out.
Mikey didn't even question me when I left his room. I guess he thought I knew what I was doing.
I walked down the short wall. My sock covered feet slid over the hardwood floor. When I got to the end of the hall I found a door. I knocked quietly and waited for an answer. "Yes?" Gerard said from the room.
I turned the knob and walked inside. The was were red and his bedding was black. The only other furniture in the room was a small mahogany desk piled ceiling high with papers. Probably old assignments he had to grade.
Gerard was sitting on the bed, staring at a black iPhone four.
"Frank?"
Notes
I am sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo sorry. I haven't updated in like a week. I've not only had a lot of homework, but I also got a serious case of writers block. I know you guys probably don't want to hear excuses, but I'm sorry for not updating. Anyway here is the chapter to make up for not writing. I tried to make it long and sorta cheerful. I will try to write more tonight, but I have a tumbling evaluation. Wish me luck! I love you guys! Thank you if you stayed with me even though I took forever to write. :)
