Waking up was a chore for me, I was completely and utterly comfortable. Gerard had his arm around me and was hugging me close to his chest, and when I tried to pull away he only pulled me closer.
"Don't leave." He mumbled.
"Gee I need to get up, go back to sleep."
His arms once again tightened around me, "no please don't leave cuddle for a little bit longer. Please?" He said with pleading hazel eyes.
I sighed, "fine you win."
He cheered pulling me into his chest, which I then buried my head into. "I love you, y'know that right?" Gee whispered.
"I love you too." He pressed a kiss to the top of my head and within minutes he was asleep again, so since I couldn't break free of Gerard's grip I snuggled into him and fell asleep again.

There were no longer arms around me and I felt cold, turning over I noticed the sliding door to the balcony was open and it was snowing again. I pulled the blanket around me like a cape and went out after grabbing my cigarettes. Gerard was looking out across the city and didn't notice me come outside, so I hesitantly went over to where he was not wanting to disturb him.
He turned his head to me and smiled, "Morning."
"Good morning." I pulled out a cigarette and offered him one which he declined and pulled out his own lighting up. We stood there in silence for a while.
"The funeral is tomorrow." Gee pointed out.
I nodded feeling my throat close up, I didn't particularly want to talk about it. But I knew he would get it out of me and get me talking.
"Are you going to be okay?"
I took a huge drag and shrugged not wanting to cry in front of him anymore. "I'll be fine, I've got you with me haven't I?"
"Of course you do, and you have a few othe people there for you as well."
I gave him a confused look, but brushed it off finishing off my cigarette and turning to head inside. "Want a cup of coffee?"
"No go sit down I got it Lex." He said leading me towards to couch inside and setting me down, a few moments later he was back with a mug handing it to me. I switched on the TV and snuggled into Gee's side, he slung his arm around my shoulder and pulled me closer to him. "You're always so cold, geez your fingers are like ice."
"My brother always said I caught something from the corpse I saw when I was younger and I'm doomed to be the same temperature as a dead body for the rest of my life." I said and took a drink from my coffee. He stared down at me with a strange look on his face.
"What corpse?"
"When we lived in Ohio I saw the dead body of a man in my backyard, he was murdered brutally. I was the one that found the body."
"Geez sounds like something that would happen in Jersey." He chuckled. "Maybe you are a corpse."
I laughed, and took another sip of my coffee. I was really enjoying this time with Gerard, I looked over at the clock and saw it was 4:00 and I was sick of being cooped up in this place. "Let's go out and do something." I said to Gerard.
"Are you sure?"
"Positive let me change really fast." I finished off my coffee and took it to the kitchen putting it in the sink and heading towards my suitcase pulling out some clothes and heading into the bathroom to change. I pulled off my pajamas and threw on my shirt, jeans, and sneakers; then I tried to tame my hair which didn't really happen to I decided to pull a hat on instead. I did my eyeliner and looked at myself in the mirror thinking I looked actually kinda nice. I came back out and went over to Gerard, "I'm ready."
He smiled at me and pulled on his shoes and coat following me outside after I had turned out all the lights, left a note for Trevor, and locked the doors. I linked my hand with Gerard's and lead him downstairs and through the streets of Ohio.

We were currently in my favorite place in the entire world the Columbus Museum of Art, I loved coming here with my Uncle as a kid it was always such a treat for me. I've taken classes at the art college up the street from the age of 7, art is my only talent.
Gerard was infatuated by every piece here as was I. I haven't been here in so long it's changed so much, I miss Ohio but I love Jersey. I think I've always been meant to live there.
"Lex Jacobs! Is that you?" I turned around at was met with the familiar face of my art teacher for most of my life.
"Mrs. Kittle!" She pulled me into a hug.
"I haven't seen you in my classes lately where have you been?"
"I moved over the summer."
"Where on earth did you move dear?"
"New Jersey actually. Oh Mrs. Kittle this is Gerard my..." I didn't know what Gerard was actually I know that he's my best friend but I think we may be a little more than that.
"Her best friend, nice to meet you." He stuck his hand out but she pulled him into a hug, she gave me a look and mouthed 'I like him already.'
When she let him go we chatted for a while until she had to get going for her next class so me and Gerard wandered a little longer until leaving and heading towards the closest Starbucks.
"Mrs. Kittle seems nice."
I nodded, "Yeah she is, she's known me since I was seven."
We went into Starbucks ordered our respective coffees, Gerard insisted on paying and then we went and took a seat in the back corner. The silence around us was interesting, it was slightly awkward and I knew Gee had something on his mind.
"What's up Gerard? I know there's some wheels turning in that head of yours."
"What are we Lex? I didn't know what to say when you introduced me and I could see you didn't know what to say either."
I shrugged, "I don't know Gee."
"I love you, and you love me but I don't want to rush this. I still want to take you on that date when we get home."
"I would love that Gee." I replied smiling like a mad women.
