Catch me if I fall

Mikey's P.O.V
I didn't hesitate, I leaned down to hug her as best as I could without pulling out anything she had connected to her arms. As I did, I had little tears falling. I couldn't believe it. She woke up just in time. I guess she was kinda in shock of what I was doing, because she slowly moved her hands up to hug me. In my mind, this was the most perfect moment in the world; She's awake meaning that she's still part of my life, and she's hugging my back regardless of how creepy I was being earlier, although she didn't know that.

"M-Mikey...? What happened? Where are we? Why are you crying? Is everything okay?" She asked, genuinely concerned as to why I was crying. I couldn't say anything. All I could do was give the slightest of nods. Seeing as how I was still freaking out, she began to rub little circles on my back in effort to calm me down while saying 'It's okay'. Realizing that I did have to explain everything that has happened in the past month and a half, I stood up and she looked at me in pure confusion.

"Are you okay now? " she asked. I gave a nod.
"Okay, what happened? Where am I and why am I here?" She interrogated. I sighed and began explaining.
"About a month and a half ago, " her eyes dialated, "We were waking you up for school, but you wouldn't wake up, so, my mum checked your pulse and it was too slow. We took you to the hospital, where they told us that you were in a critial coma. And today was the day your dad wanted to take you off life support." I said. She just stared at me until she finally said something.
"What the fuck? Why?!"
"I don't know." I answered. I was going to say something else, but the door opened before I could with shocked doctors, a shock mum, and a shocked Gerard. Not her dad though. If anything, He looked annoyed. What the hell?! His daughter wake up at the nick of time and he's annoyed?! There is truly something wrong with that man.


"Miss Kalenbatch?! You're awake?!" The first doctor said as he rushed up to her.

"Clearly." she said rolling her eyes.

"How is this possible..? Do you know what we were about to do?" the second doctor said."Did you explain to her what has happened and what was going to happen?" he asked me.

"Yes sir." I replied. He simply brushed his hair back while mumbling 'This is a miracle..'. I then heard someone clear their throat followed by a disgusting voice.

"Karamel, my beautiful neice, thank goodness you've woken up!" her dad said, moving forward. What the hell is this? Are we in a Shakespeare play? I don't think so. He moved to hold her hand and she glared at him.

"Can we get a moment please?" her dad said through gritted teeth. Respectfully,we left the room and sat down in the seats just outside of the room. I made sure to sit on the chair next to the door in case I heard something suspicious or in case something were to happen. I could here mumbled noises and him saying 'I couldn't care less about what they say.'.



"Mikey? What happened in there?" Gerard asked, snapping me out of my concentration.
"I was wiping my eyes and when I did, she grabbed my hand and asked where she was and why she was here." I answered. After my explaination, he rolled his head back and smiled. Sighed myself as well. The past almost two months have been pure stress. I can't believe it's almost over. Thank God.

After a few minutes, the door opened and we were allowed back in with the doctors and nurses. They wanted to take a test to see if anything went wrong inside of her but apparently it was too late. Her body had already been flushed out or something like that. As a result since she was okay now and there were no tests she could take, she would be released in two days. She needed to stay there for another day for 'Observations'.

At the end of the doctors explanation it was time for us to leave since visiting hours were over. We all gave her a hug and a 'Goodbye' before being rushed out by her 'Uncle'.
