Oh Baby Let Me In.

A/N: This is how I always imagined the ending so this a little epilogue of the story I guess (◡‿◡✿) *:･ﾟ✧*:･ﾟ


Frank never imagined he was going to get better — and at some point actually feel happy. After he finished school he did in fact —not go to college which went against his parents wishes but he didn’t care to be quite honest. Instead of starting a career he started a band. His dream. Pencey Prep. He also didn’t turn to booze or pot for comfort anymore. Gerard was his comfort. They shared an apartment together and Gerard still worked as a psychologist. Things hadn’t really changed between them except for Frank being older now, twenty two and Gerard being twenty nine — almost thirty. Gerard was worried Frank was going to leave him once he turned the big three zero but Frank always laughed and reassured him he was never going to grow tired of him.

When Frank officially came out to his mom and dad that he was indeed— gay. They didn’t really take it well and he was surprised they hadn’t already figured it out. What he really meant was he’d never had a girlfriend or spoke about girls in that manner so it should have been fairly obvious. Then again perhaps they did catch on but never found themselves willing to accept it. They didn’t want a gay son, they didn’t want everyone to think they did a bad job in raising their only child.

“What if they send me to jail Frank?” Gerard asked the day they were going to announce their status as a couple to Misses and Mister Iero. They were in the car and Frank was driving. Gerard fidgeted in the passenger seat uncomfortably.

“Relax Gerard. Nothing’s going to happen and they can't do that. I mean yeah they’ll be surprised but we can’t be a secret anymore. We both want to really be a couple.” He took Gerard’s hand and held it in his, keeping just his other hand on the steering wheel.

Gerard kind of felt embarrassed for acting like a little kid sometimes and having Frank be the one to assure— reassure him of everything but that’s just how they worked.

“What if they hate me?”

Frank rolled his eyes. “Why would they hate you? They didn’t hate you when they took me to your office.”

“That’s because I was going to be your psychologist. How can you be so fucking calm about this?”

“Because if they don’t accept us.. then that's just fine. Stop over thinking everything. You’re going to get wrinkles.”

They didn’t exactly accept them right away but they also didn’t shut them out of their lives. Some days they all got together for lunch or dinner, it wasn’t the best idea ever but hey at least they were on speaking terms even if most of the times there was an awkward silence or unsettled tension in the air.

After taking that huge step Franks life was good. His band was good. His friends were good. His part time job at the record was good even if he dealt with annoying and bratty little teens every now and then. Most importantly he had Gerard who was more than good and he wanted to keep him forever until the day his boyfriend grew tired of him which would according to Gerard, be never.

my dear angels, i apoligize for abandoning this story. i just sort of felt like i wasn't in it anymore and that it was lame but it bugged me that i left it without a proper ending so i had to write one. even if it's pretty short which i'm also sorry about. i know some of you guys expected more! then came along the mcr break up which broke my heart so i wasn't sure if i'd ever finish this story or continue to write frerard. which i still am. my minds just not in this one anymore. i've actually been working on some other stuff that i will post soon. anyways thanks so much to everyone that read, i appreciate it tons! and also if you ever want someone to talk to for advice or anything you can always message me!
