Should I thank you for the Venom? (Redo)
Hold your head Up
Lulu's pov.
I think I officially have a new friend! Fluff yes! I skipped through the hallway with Gee in tow, getting weird glances every now and then, but I couldn't care less. Gee kept laughing, and after he said he was bullied, I could guess he didn't laugh a lot. Then I remembered I actually had to go to my home room which I had no idea where that was. I also remembered that I had no idea where I was at the moment either. I stopped skipping and almost got knocked over as Gee "skipped" into me.
"Whoa! Why'd you stop?" Gee asked as her helped me steady myself.
"Um, do you know where room 205 is? We're supposed to go to our homeroom first, right?"
Wait, you have homeroom in room 205?!?! That's mine and Frank's homeroom!!!!"gee got all excited like an over active 5 year old. I laughed and nodded. Gee started to take the lead to room 205, still holding my hand, when I got my first taste of the bullying that the members of MCR received.
"Hey emo f**! Get your hands off the new girl! The only reason she's talking to you is because she doesn't know you're a f**!" Ugh! It was one of the "popular" cheerleader freaks. Yeah, like I was going to pay attention to her. "New girl, if you need help finding your homeroom, I'd be happy to take you!" She put on her plastic smile, like I would actually go with her.
I looked over at Gee. He just sighed and had such a defeated look on his face, it broke my heart. Gee let go of my hand and started to walk away. That stupid girl had a victorious look on her face. It made me sick.
"Gerard, wait!" Gee stopped and turned back towards me. I gave him a reassuring smile and looked back at the cheerleader. "Thanks for the offer, but I think I can find room 205 just fine." I gave "Miss Cheerleader" a big smile and left her standing alone as I walked towards Gee. He looked shocked and it didn't seem like he knew to follow me, so I lightly nudged him in the side.
"You coming Pansy?" I laughed and grabbed his arm and pulled him in the direction of the stairs, since room 205 had to be on the second floor.
When we got to the stairs, Gee walked off to the side, so I followed him. He took a deep breath but had tears in his eyes.
"Gee, are you okay? That girl was way out of line. I would never believe her or leave you." I don't know if Gee thought that or not, but he needed to know that was not true.
"Thanks, but, it's just, what that girl said was true. I am an emo f**." Gee stated calmly, even though he was shaking.
"Gee, don't say that! What they say is not true!" I couldn't stand hearing him say those things.
"But it is! Frank, Mikey, Ray and I are all gay. I hate myself and everything about me! I'm a depressed emo kid who can't stand up for himself. I'm nothing! I'm worthless!" Gee started sobbing, his body shaking uncontrollably. I couldn't bear to see him like this, so I wrapped him in a hug and held him tightly.
"Shh. It's okay Gee, everything is going to be fine. You just can't let them get to you like this. I won't let them get to you."
Gee slid down onto the floor, so I sat next to him still holding onto him. His sobs had lessened and he was able to talk.
"I'm just so thankful that you are here for me Lulu. I barely even know you and you still are helping me. I don't know how you handled that cheerleader so calmly, but what ever you did, thank you."
"Hey, that's what friends do. They stick up for each other. I know you wouldn't have left me, and there was no way I was leaving you. You don't ask for this; it's the world's fault for not letting you fit in."
Gee looked at me and gave me a grateful smile. I stood up and helped him to his feet. I gave him another hug and looked up at him. "Now dry your eyes and hold your head up high, baby." I reached up and brushed away some of the tears off Gee's face. I grabbed his hand and up to the second floor. "Know where is room 205? We only have, like, one minute before the bell rings, and I don't want t be late!"
Gee giggled. I was happy to see he was feeling better. "Nerd much? 205 is right across the hall. Frank's probably freaking out right now, so we should hurry." I lightly punched his arm as he led me into the room just as the bell rang.
