Astro Zombies

I was kinda skipping as I walked away, fucking Red deserved everything he was about to get. Like I always do I went down to the nursery to play with Kenzie and Kid, they we both happy to see me, although, Kid wanted to go down and play wit Ghoul's son rather then spend more time with me and his little sister. I tried to keep him interested but it didn't work out and I let hi go run off. My voice was a little weak but it now didn't hurt me to talk or anything so I decided to spend my time teach Kenzie how to talk. She already knew a few words but that didn't really matter much.

I was trying to get her to say killjoy when Party came in, a little bit of blood was on his shirt.

"Looks like someone got there voice back." he said as he took a seat across from us.

"A bit." I said in a small voice.

"How are you?" He asked.

"Good, how did things go back there with Red?" I said as I picked up my baby and put her to bed.

'Eh, we just beat the crap out of him and I suspended his killjoys privileges." he said as he draped his arm around me as we walked out.

":Wait, I thought only Dr.D could-" I stopped myself mid sentence, how could I forget? Dr.D is dying and he asked Party to take over for him, so that gave Party the right to suspend someone. Things must be going faster then I thought.

"Blue, I think you should see him, he's worried about you."

"Why would he be worried, he's the one who decided to try and 'protect' me by not saying anything." I said.

"Don't be like that. You know he loves you, and he knows what happened with you and the stomach thing."

"How?" I asked.

"Kobra told him the last time he visited him."

"Oh." That made me feel bad, everyone was seeing him. Everyone expect me, his own daughter.

"You look upset." Party told me.

"Have I ever told you you are a master of the obvious." I said sarcastically to him.

"Come on." he said and dragged me to the shooting range, where we spend the rest of the day care free. Just goofing off like we used to do when we were out on the field. It was nice, we didn't wrestle like we used to because of the baby but we still managed to have a lot of fun while we were out there. When night came, we were extremely tired and as soon as we got under the covers we fell asleep. I think the pregnancy was giving me weird dreams, I was dreaming of snakes dancing under a apple tree trying to make them grow figs.

"Tabitha, wake up!" Party said shaking me in the middle of the night.

"What?" I asked closing my eyes, wanting to go back asleep.

"Your bleeding." He said, my eyes snapped open and I turned to him. He had the side light on and I could see his hand covered in blood. I looked down at the sheet to see where the source of blood was coming from, it was coming from where the baby would be.

I let out a shaky breath and everything went silent. I didn't faint or anything, I was too shock at the fact I had probably just killed my child, my child inside of me. How could I not protect it? How could I fail at being a mother before the child was even born.

My whole body just shut down from the shock. I felt Party shake me but I didn't respond, I was just staring at the blood. I guess he got fed up with me not responding because he ripped the sheets of and came to my side of the bed. I couldn't hear a single thing. I felt him pick me up bridal style and take me out of the room, I just stared at my bleeding body. Party stopped not long after he carried me and just stood waiting. A door opened and Ghoul came out, a felt another hand on me but I didn't respond to it, I didn't even look in that direction. The hand touched different parts of my body, my forehead, my throat, and my stomach.

Soon the walls started moving again and Ghoul was running beside Party who was taking me to the hospital wing of Safe Haven. I was set on a bed and my shorts and underwear was being taken off and Party sat next to me and held my hand, he moved my hand up to his forehead and he closed his eyes. His lips were moving but I still didn't heat anything he was saying. I kept staring at at him. Soon his head snapped towards where Ghoul was and he started crying, but he had a smile on his face.

"Did you hear that?" He asked, my hearing had returned.

"W-what?" I asked.

"The baby lost a lot of blood but its fine, its okay, we didn't lose it." He said cryong. I could help but cry as well and thank Ghoul.

"Tabitha," he said in a serious voice, "Even though everything is okay now, this can very easily lead to a miscarriage, to prevent that, you need to be put on bed rest."

"How long?" I asked.

"Until you deliver."

"You mean like barely walk and stay in the same room?" I asked.

"I mean, no walking, have someone carry you to the bathroom, don't move and stay in the bed."

"Its for my kid, I'll do it." I said taking a deep breath, "How far along am I?"

"About 5 weeks."


"So I'll be in this room for almost 8 months, fun." I said throwing my head back agasint the pillow.

Hey guys, I'm sorry for not updating in a long time, I've been dealing with personal shit. Anyways I was thinking of leaving this one at a cliff hanger but that wouldn't really be to nice of me, okay so there is one maybe two more chapter left before I call quits.
