See The Rust Through Your Playground Eyes

Two

When we got home Frankie was asleep and my dad had just gotten up.
"Linda, come inside, let me show you our room!" Linda and my father ran in to the house, leaving the housekeeper, Lori, to carry all the luggage, and leaving me to deal with an asleep Frankie, not that I'm complaining.

I opened the passenger door and undid the seatbelt,
"Frankie? Wake up, we're here." I shook him lightly but he didn't even move.
Okay, it looks like he won't be waking up anytime soon. I slid my arm under his knees and the other across his back, then I pulled him out of the car and kicked the door closed.
He was light as a feather and strangely cuddable, you know, kind of soft and moveable? Whatever.

Frankie seemed to be knocked out cold and didn't even notice. I looked at his sleeping face and couldn't help but smile, he was cute. I don't mean it in a pervy 'I would bang that' way, more like a 'aw! look a puppy!' kind of cute.

I made it inside and Frankie was still deep asleep, seems like I have to carry him up the stairs. Oh, well.
I may look scrawny but I'm not at all weak. I can easilly carry Frankie up the four fights of stairs to his new bedroom, no problem at all.
And that's what I did, and he didn't even stir.

When I made it to his bedroom I pushed the door open with my hip and then shut it with my foot, I laid Frankie on his scarlet bed and took off his shoes before pulling the covers over him.
I made my way to the door, but I guess he must have been woken by all the movement,

"Gee-rawrd?"

I turned to look at him, "Yeah, Frankie?"

"T-this is m-my room?" he sat up and looked around.

"Yeah, do you like it?"

"I-It's aw-awesome!" He got off the bed and started walking around.

"I picked it for you." The bedroom he was supposed to have was right next to dads room and I very much doubt he wanted to hear my father and his mother having sex all night, so I moved him to the bedroom closest to mine, y'know, in case he needed anything I would be close enough to help.

"V-very pre-pretty!"

He looked out the window and gasped. The veiw here was incredible you could easily see all of the house grounds: the pool, tennis court, the forest and snow sprinkled mountains. It was a beautiful house.

"Gee-rawrd, s-show m-me all the h-house!" he ran to me and tugged on my sleeve.

"Uh, yeah, sure. Put on your shoes and a sweater." he squealed and quickly got dressed, then he followed me out of the room.

"What do you want to see, Frankie?" I asked him.

"U-uhm, the ou-outside? Y-yeah!" I smiled at his happiness.

On the second flight of stairs he started to groan, "Nguh! I'm t-tired!"

"It's just another two flights, don't worry." I answered.

"N-nope!," he stopped and crossed his arms, "Not go-gonna move, n-no!"

I stared at him. He'll walk, just wait.

And wait, and wait, and wait some more.
And...he's not going to walk.

"What do you want me to do?" I asked him.

"C-carry me!"

"...okay." I, Gerard Arthur Way Lee, was giving a 16 year old a piggy-back-ride.
He wrapped his legs around my waist and his arms around my neck and kept cheering and urging me to go faster.

"Frankie, if I go faster we will fall...and most likely die."

He clutched on to me with more force, "N-no! D-don't let m-me d-d-die, Gee-rawrd!"

I chuckled, he was cute when he was scared, "Don't worry Frankie, I'll keep you safe."

We made it to the ground floor without falling, but Frankie was a little less than happy to get off me,

"N-no, Gee-rawrd! C-carry me!" he dug his fingers into my shirt.

"Frankie, you can walk now, we're off the stairs."

"B-but I l-like get-getting carried." He slid off me and I turned to look at his pouting face. Aw!

"Come on, Frankie, it's not that far." he huffed but followed me out of the house.

Since it was cold the pool was empty, but the cold and slight snow made the trees and mountains look all the more beautiful.

I watched with a smile on my face as Frankie walked around and looked at everything, stopping him once he got too close to the forest; not a chance in hell I'll let him go in there...what if he gets lost?

It was getting dark out -it got dark pretty early out here- so I was going to take Frankie back inside,

"But Gee-rawrd, I don't wanna go!"

"Come on Frankie, it's getting cold out...you'll get sick."

"N-no I w-won't! Y-yes, Gee-rawrd?"

You have no idea how hard it was to say 'no' to his puppy dog eyes, but I did.
Once inside Frankie pouted even more and it was even harder to not look at him and stare at his cuteness.

"Frank, Gerard, what were you two doing?" asked a very confused (and just-fucked-looking) Linda.
"I was showing Frankie the backyard." I answered simply.

She -as per usual- changed her shocked/confused face to a fake smile.
"Well, it's late and Frank should take his pills." she took Frankie by the hand and led (pulled) him out of the room.

Oh, well, that was strange.
I walked up to my bedroom, cursing every step of the dreaded staircase.

-----Time Lapse-----

Breakfast with my father and Linda is the most awkward thing ever.

Just, please, someone shoot me.

Apparently, we 'had to start bonding as a family' and apparently that means I have to sit at the table and watch my dad and Linda make out.
And apparently Frankie was still asleep and 'won't be joining us this morning...he's sleeping'.
And they expect me to believe that the hyperactive- (apparently) teen aged Frankie is asleep at 10:00 am?

I had eaten about two bites of waffle-while my dad and Linda had eaten each others faces- and was now way too disgusted to eat any more or stay any longer,

"Excuse me." I said as I left the dinning room and walked up the stairs to my bedroom.

I stopped at the top of the stairs to Frankie's room.
Lori was walking towards Frankie's room with a tray of food.
I quickly made my way to her and took the tray from her,

"Mr. Way? What's-"

"I'll take the food to Frankie, okay? You can leave now." I interrupted her.

She looked stunned but gave me the tray and left.
I knocked on Frankie's bedroom door and waited,

"W-who is i-it?" I smiled at his sweet voice.

"It's Gerard." I answered.

The door immediately opened to reveal a smiling Frankie, how cute.

"H-hi, Gee-rawrd." he looked up at me and blushed slightly when I smiled, ducking his head.

"I brought you breakfast, Frankie. You hungry?"

He looked up at me again, eyes wide and face red, he smiled, "Y-yeah" he stepped away from the door and I followed him to the coffee table and sofas located in a corner of his large bedroom.

I placed the tray on the table and turned to Frankie.

He looked more angelic than yesterday.

He was wearing a white shirt, sky blue pajama bottoms and socks. His shiny chocolate hair was tied back in a lose pony tail. He looked like he had just woken up and for some reason that was incredibly cute.

"W-wanna eat w-with m-me?" Frankie asked.

I smiled (I was smiling a lot lately), "Yeah, sure." I sat down and served myself a cup of coffee.

Frankie sat, crossed-legged, next to me and drank some orange juice.

"Did you just get up?" I asked him.

"N-no...m-mom said to s-stay in r-room l-like a-always." he nodded absentmindedly.

Linda told him to stay here? By himself? Why?! Did she think Frankie would bother someone? Was she embarrassed of having a son with some mental illness?
Wait...what exactly did Frankie have?

He continued to talk, "A-always eat by m-myself...g-get l-lonely, y-yes." he looked so sad.

It was incredibly heartbreaking to see Frankie like this, "Frankie, if you want, I could eat with you..?"
He looked up, eyes bright and hopeful, "Y-yeah? I w-want!"

He lunged at me (good thing I placed the coffee cup on the table) and hugged me, wrapping his arms around my neck and his knees on either side of me, chanting 't-thanks'.
He almost fell off me so I wrapped my arms around his waist. He pulled his face out of my neck and looked at me, smiling.

"N-not l-like being a-alone."

I held him tighter, "You're not alone, you have me."

His smile widened, making me smile back.

He kissed my cheek, leaving me shocked and blushing.

He hugged me again, resting his head on my shoulder. And that's when I realized that there was someone standing in the middle of the room. Staring at us with a horrified expresion.

Frankie looked up, "H-hi, m-mom."
