I ran my hand through my newly cut short hair and groaned. I can’t believe the guys are dragging me out tonight, do I look as if I can be assed to go to some stupid fucking club and watch them get drunk try to hook up with girls? Didn't think so.
I’ve already had a shit day, watching slutty girls dance around in pretty much no clothing, grinding up on the rich guys trying to get them to go home with them is not what I need right now. I just wanna kick back on my couch with a margarita pizza watching the Batman animated series. I’m too old for this shit, I mean I’m 29 for Christ sake.
I took in my appearance one last time. Stupid short hair, eye liner smudged all over, black skinny jeans with rips in the knees, Dracula t shirt and my trusty leather jacket, of course all topped off with converse. I looked as though I was just going to the movies but I didn’t care in the slightest.
I know it sounds as though I’m a serious pessimist, I’m really not, I’ve just had a really fucking horrible day. First I was late for band practice, then I messed up in almost every song, then I smacked my head off of one of the mic stands, then my crazy ex-girlfriend decided it would be fun to call me up and ask me to go for coffee, then when I said no said that she was gonna send her new boyfriend to come kick my ass and blah blah blah. So yeah, normally I’m a generally happy person, the band is going well, we have an album coming out in October which I’m super psyched about. Maybe I should just cheer up and enjoy myself, maybe a night out with the guys is exactly what I need right now. I took a deep breath and smiled to myself, happy thoughts right?
The sound of a horn outside alerted me to my rides presence. Ah well, once more into the breach I guess. I sprayed myself with some cologne and left my apartment heading downstairs to the car.
“Hey man, you excited yet?” Bob asked me.
“I guess so.” I shrugged.
“Come on, it’s gonna be a kick ass night, smile for fuck sake.” Bob patted me on the back before turning back towards the wheel and driving off.
At The Club
So we get there and straight away my nose is bombarded with the smell of sweat and desperation. Oh the joys. I look down at my phone to check for any texts but don’t see any yet, aren’t I so popular? The guys pull me over to some booth in a corner. It’s just some blue leather bench seats around a square table, nothing special, it’s not like we’re claiming the VIP area tonight, no fuss like that needed. I check my phone once again because I’m bored and there’s no real conversation except Ray telling everyone how shit faced he wants to get.
“I’m going over to the bar” I announce, but no one really hears so I just get up and waltz over to the glass front bar lit up all purple and gold-ish. I plop down on one of the chrome stools and spin around to face the bar. That’s when I see her.
The total definition of perfection. Her hair is all blended red and pink and it cascades down her back in loose curls. Her skin in slightly tanned and so smooth, no imperfections what-so-ever, not even a freckle. Her deep purple dress hugs her figure in all the right places and shows off her flawless slim legs that are crossed over each other. As if she knows I’m looking, she self-consciously pulls the hem of her dress, trying to lower it further down her legs but to no avail. The feature that most captures my attention though is her eyes, I can’t see much of them but from what I can see hidden beneath all that smoky black eye shadow, has my mouth hanging to the floor. The lightest yet deepest brown eyes I have ever seen.
She is the most beautiful woman I have ever laid eyes upon,
And I must have her.

WOO! Hey guys, its been a while, I know, and I have no excuse other than the fact that I am a hell of a lazy author. But I've already started the next chapter and I'm pretty much half way through it so I might post it tonight since this ones a little short.
Who do you think the mystery guy is? Hmm?
