You're Never Gonna Fit In Much, Kid!
New faces
Christine kept her head down on the desk throughout the remaining minutes of the maths lesson, despite the countless attempts of the mousey brown haired boy trying to talk to her. As soon as the bell rang, Christine jumped out of her seat and ran all the way down the corridor until she came to the bathroom! She looked at herself in the mirror and tried to convince herself that what was written on that note wasn't true. However she couldn't see anything that changed her mind and she accepted that what that note said was true! She was a "Pathetic Skank!" The memories started to resurface and she had to splash the cold water over her face in order to stop herself from crying.
When Christine had came out of the bathroom she hadn't realised how long she had been in there for, as the corridors were now empty so she guessed that next lesson had already started. She decided to skip the lesson as she didn't want to be shouted at again for being late and given another detention on her first day! She exited through the main doors and decided to go and sit behind the bleachers in order for her to get a quick cigarette into her system. As she made her way towards the bleachers she heard a distinct giggle and couldn't help but let out a little laugh when she realised that it was the boy she had meet earlier.
"Hey frank!" Christine laughed.
Frank looked so confused and then slightly amused when he had recognized her! Christine took her cigarette out and laughed when frank asked her "do you need a lighter?"
Christine sat there with frank and told him about her incident in maths! She told him that she had just moved here and how she was struggling with finding her way round the school. She was really surprised at how well frank sat there and listened to her, he didn't interrupt her and he actually gave her some good feedback and information on who to hang about with and who to avoid! Before long Christine noticed that the field was filling up with people and she figured that it was lunch time! She was feeling very hungry due to not being able to eat breakfast in an attempt to avoid her step dad however she didn't tell frank this when he asked her to sit with him at lunch or when he had questioned if she was hungry due to her stomach rumbling. Although she trusted him at the moment she doesn't think she can trust him with the contents of her mind and back story.
Walking through the corridor with frank was a strange experience due to everyone staring at not only her but also at frank! She never would of thought that frank was subjected to being an outcast like her, she thought he was pretty cool herself however others must disagree! As they made it to the canteen, Christine noticed the mousey brown haired boy from her maths class was approaching them and guessed that frank must knew him! This would give her the chance to apologize for ignoring him in maths!
All three of them sat at the back of the canteen eating their lunches when another person came to join them! Seeing as frank and the mousey brown haired boy who she now knew was mikey, knew the boy Christine didn't worry about anything! The boy came and sat with her, frank and mikey and she learnt that the new member of their group is bob. The 4 of them sat there talking about comics, sport and what they do in their spare time and Christine learnt a lot about the 3 boys! They were having a perfectly good lunch until Christine heard a lot of commotion from behind and lunches going everywhere! Resulting in a lot of hormonal teenagers losing the plot!
