‼️ON PAUSE‼️ 'Cause The Hardest Part Of This Is Leaving You
Parties Are So Much Fun
I woke up this morning and everything seemed like a blur. What did I do last night? Wasn't I with Carry? Oh yeah, I was, because I remember we were talking about Hunter, and then I started singing. That's right. Oh Hunter. That name would not get out of my head now. I smiled at the thought of him. Does he know I exist? I think so. 'Cause he asked me for my science notes once. Who an I kidding.. He did that just so he wouldn't fail. He didn't even say my name. Just, "Hey, you're in my science class aren't ya? Can I borrow your notes?" I sighed. He has no clue who I am. I roll over in bed a grab my bear. I smile at it and hug it tightly. I sit up in bed and stretch. It's still kind of dark in my room, even though the blinds are open. I get up and walk over to my window. Oh, nice. It's dark, gloomy, and rainy. Not to mention it's my birthday. I stretch some more when I hear a knock at my door. I turn around a say, "Come in!". My parents storm threw the door.
"Happy Birthday, Bandit!" They shout, shoving a birthday cake in front of me.
"Aww, thanks guys, you remembered." I said smiling.
"Of course we remembered! You're our little girl!" Daddy said, reaching out to hug me. Mom walked over to the desk underkneeth my window and placed the cake there. Then she came over and joined our group hug. Even though I'm more of a teenager now, I still love my parents to death. They are my closets friends, escipally my father.
"Now that you're even more of a teenager," Daddy said. Apparently he can read minds too.
"I now get to sing you a special song." He walked over to my guitar and handed it to me.
"I want you to play the song 'Teenagers"." He said, in all seriousness.
I looked at him and laughed. "Very funny daddy." I put my guitar down. Then he picked it back up.
"I'm very serious. Play it." He said, smiling.
I sighed. It's too early to play anyways, but I didn't want to upset him, so I did. I started to play the cords and he sang.
"Their gonna clean up your looks, with all the lies in the books,
To make a citizen out of you. Because they sleep with a gun, and keep an eye on you son,
So they can watch all the things you do."
We played for ever. What felt like forever for me. I enjoyed it though, I love playing with dad, it calms me.
"Because the drugs never work, their gonna give you a smirk,
Cause they got methods of keeping you clean. Their gonna rip off your head,
Your aspirations to shreds, another cog in the murder machine."
Then I saw mom running into my room. She brought her bass and started playing.
"They said all teenagers scare the living shit outta me,
They could care less as long as some'll bleed,
So if you darken your clothes, or strike a violent pose,
Maybe they'll leave you alone but not me."
Mom and I were totally killing it on the guitars and dad was knockin'um dead with his amazing vocals.
"The boys and girls in the clique, the awful names that they stick,
You're never gonna fit in much kid. But if you're troubled and hurt,
What you got under your shirt, will make them pay for the things that they did!
They said all teenagers scare the living shit outta me,
They could care less as long as some'll bleed,
So darken your clothes, or strike a violent pose,
Maybe they'll leave you alone but not me."
After that line, dad stopped singing. Mom put her bass down and hugged me. Dad put his arms around the both of us. We stood there for a good long while until my stomach growled.
"My goodness, someone is hungry!" Mom said, "I have your special birthday breakfast down stairs on the kitchen table."
I smiled at her. "Thanks mom, your the best." I put my guitar down and ran out of my room. Did I ever tell you mom makes the best breakfast? She also makes amazing pancakes! That seems very familiar, are you sure I didn't tell you before?
*Lindsey's POV*
The last thing I saw was a flash of teenage girl. Bandit ran down those stairs so fast I could barely understand the last words she said. Gerard and I just laughed.
"Ya know Lindsey, our little girl is growin' up." He said with a sigh.
"I know hon, she's defiantly not a little girl anymore."
Gerard came over and rubbed his hand on my back. "Oh yes she will, she always will be our little girl."
I wrapped my arms around his waist. "Let's go down stairs and enjoy some breakfast with our 'not so, but still our' little girl." I said, giggling a little.
"I agree, but she may have already eatin all of your amazing food." Gerard said, jokeingly. As we began to walk down the stairs I stared to think. Today is her birthday, what are we going to do for her? She doesn't really like huge parties so maybe we can invite family. Grandma and grandpa, Uncle Mikey, Frank, Ray. Even Carry if she wants to come. I decided to ask Gerard.
"Hey Gee?" I stopped him, "Do you think we could throw together a little party for Bandit? Ya know, her turning 15 and all, I was thinking we could invite family; Grandparents, Mikey, the guys. What'd ya think?"
He thought for a second,"You know how I love small gatherings, of course! But let's keep it a surprise."
"Definitely, that makes it more fun."
Gerard and I laughed as we walked down the stairs.

I'll miss you! But I understand.
