‼️ON PAUSE‼️ 'Cause The Hardest Part Of This Is Leaving You

Day-dreams and Cleaning Schemes

I shot up in bed to the loud sound of Peirce the Veil blasting throughout the room. Ah the classics. My sight landed on my phone resting on my table. The name "Carry" was flashing on the screen. My clock read 8:30 a.m. What the hell is she doing calling me this damn early? I picked up the device and answered.

"What?" I answered, very rudely too.

"Good morning sunshine!" She shouted into the phone.

"What are you doing up this early?"

"Just wanted to say hello to my bestest friend in the world." She said cheerfully.

Then she hung up. I can't believe she did that; actually, I can believe she did that, it's something she would do. I laid back down in attempt to fall back asleep. Just as I got comfortable, dad busted threw my door.

"Bandit!" He shouted as loud as he could. I looked up and glared at him.

"Oh good, you're already awake. Get up and get ready, mom needs you to help her clean the house." I rolled my eyes and sighed loudly.

"You don't need to throw a fit, jeez." He shut my door and I rolled out of bed. Why can't he help her clean? Why do I always have to help? Walking over to my dresser, I pulled out a pair of black leggings and a Nirvana shirt. To be honest, I wish they still sold shirts like these. All of the ones I have are from thrift stores or my dads closet. He gave me a couple that don't fit him anymore, but their still too big on me. I walked over to my radio and plugged my phone into it. Deciding to match the music with my outfit of the day, I put on some Nirvana.
While I was putting my make up on Dad busted through my door.

"Smells like teen spirit!" He shouted at the top of his lungs.
"Yeah, this was my jam! Still is!" He started to parade around my room, it looked like he was trying to dance.

"Oh my God dad...what are you doing!?" I yelled at him.

"Dancing to my song Bandit! Woo!" He spun in a circle and then the song stopped, he stared at me with a look of disappointment.
"Well, back to work." Dad stated as he marched out of my room, shutting the door. I swear, my family is so random.

When I was finally done putting my war paint on I made my way down stairs to find mom. By the time I got to the bottom of the stairs, I heared her singing something I could understand, or maybe a song I didnt know. I walked in the kitchen to see her mopping like mad. She had her checkered bandana on her head, her lucky one is what she called it. When she turned around, she greeted me with a startled but happy expression.

"Oh Bandit, finally, I was wondering what was taking you so long."

"I was getting ready until dad interrupted me with a dance number." I said, with much emphases.

"Well grab a rag and get the bucket, the counters need washed."

I walked over to the sink where the blue bucket was located. There was a rag swimming around in the water, along with one or two sponges. I picked up the rag and rang it out, staring to wash the counter and the sink. Honestly, I don't mind cleaning, its just the fact that I don't like to get my hands dirty which causes the problem. But don't get me wrong, I'm no clean freak but I ain't a slob either.

"So Bandit," I heard my mom say, "How was the trip yesterday?" She asked, while washing the dishes.

"It was really fun, we hit a few bumps on the way but everything was awesome." I said as I reached up to clean the window.

"Oh really? What happened?"

"Well when I saw we, I mean me, and when I say bump, I mean a person."

"You ran into someone?" She raised her eyebrow.

"More like they tripped me." I lowered my voice.

"What did you say?" She asked me, turning her head to look at me.

"I said they tripped me.." I mumbled my words, I didn't want her to worry.

"Bandit honey, speak up, enunciate."

"I said someone tripped me." I said it louder this time.

"Tripped you!? Like on purpose?" She leaned on the counter staring at me.

"I don't think it was on purpose..But a nice person helped me up." I said, trying to sound optimistic and not scare her.

"Oh, at least there is still some good in this world."

I smiled at the thought of the handsome man helping me.
"He was also super cute, wasn't he Bandit?" I heard someone say. I turned around to see dad standing in the archway between our dining room and kitchen, a wide smirk on his face. My face burned bright red, though my back was facing mom and dad. Mom laughed a little before looking at me.

"Was he? Does this cutie have a name?" She asked.

"I never got to ask, he rushed away before I had a chance to." I said, pausing on my window washing.

"That's a shame, you should have gotten his number." Mom and dad both laughed. I turned around and glared at them.

"You guys are crazy, it will never happen." I said, turning around to continue to clean the windows.
I won't see him again, there are 7 billion people in the world, the chance of us meeting again is slim, so I shouldn't get my hopes up. But gosh, would it be amazing if we did.
