Which Way?
Crazy
Frank's P.O.V
As we left the coffee shop, it began to rain. My pace increased as I didn’t want to get wet, however, when I went to look at Gerard, he was quite a way behind, walking casually with a huge grin plastered across his face, all the while getting drenched in rain. I let out a giggle at the sight.
“Gee! Come on, you’ll get a cold!” I laughed.
“I don’t care Frankie!” he grinned.
“Oh? And why is that exactly?” I giggled.
“BECAUSE I AM IN LOVE!” he screeched into the empty street.
I giggled and kept walking, hearing Gerard’s frequent proclamations of love.
It went quiet for a while and as I was about to turn around, I heard Gerard singing, but he was shouting the words.
“Sexbomb, sexbomb you're a sexbomb
You can give it to me when I need to come along
Sexbomb, sexbomb you're my sexbomb
And baby you can turn me on turn me on darlin'
Sexbomb, sexbomb you're my sexbomb, sexbomb
You can give it to me when I need to come along
Sexbomb, sexbomb you're my sexbomb
And baby you can turn me on” he sang/shouted.
“Gee?! Stop! You can’t sing that!” I screamed as I recognised the song to be Tom Jones’ Sexbomb. He doesn’t even like Tom Jones.
He began to sing again, quieter and more…meaningful. I slowed down to listen to him.
“There's a calm surrender to the rush of day
When the heat of a rolling wind can be turned away
An enchanted moment, and it sees me through
It's enough for this restless warrior just to be with you
And can you feel the love tonight
It is where we are
It's enough for this wide-eyed wanderer
That we got this far
And can you feel the love tonight
How it's laid to rest
It's enough to make kings and vagabonds
Believe the very best
There's a time for everyone if they only learn
That the twisting kaleidoscope moves us all in turn
There's a rhyme and reason to the wild outdoors
When the heart of this star-crossed voyager beats in time with yours” he finished. I recognised it to be Elton John’s Can You Feel The Love Tonight.
I turned around to see him, grinning wider than he had previously been.
“What’s with the love songs?” I giggled.
“Love, my dear Frankie, I am so in love, I love you!” he exclaimed.
I began laughing again as I pondered the thought of him being high off of love. It also made me feel warm inside.
The rain got a lot heavier, so I began running.
“Frankieeee” I heard Gerard call, but I kept running, knowing my luck I’d end up with pneumonia.
Soon a pair of heavy footsteps accompanied my own, within seconds I was locked within Gerard’s arms, as he laughed and I giggled.
“HAHA! YOU’RE ALL MINE!” he screamed.
I began laughing at his continuous crazy behaviour, I’d never seen this side to him before, and as crazy as it was, I enjoyed it.
As we both reached the car, Gerard was still singing cheesy love songs, and I was trying to mentally process how the hell I managed to find such an amazing person and make him mine.
…corny, I know.
