Alice is having an affair with her best friend, Gerard. She is in love with him, but she doesn’t know if he is in love with her too. She spends the time they have together wishing and hoping that he would realise that he is in love with her too. But Gerard is constantly disappointing her with his alcoholism and his busy schedule.
While she tries her hardest to get over her infatuation, she finds herself being pulled into some kind of strange relationship that isn’t quite just sex, isn’t quite romantic either.
