ASTRID'S POV
"Should I have my hair up or down?" I asked my boyfriend of three years, Frank, as I clasped my hair in my hand. "You're going to look gorgeous no matter what babe" he replied, stepping closer to the mirror where I stood and putting his hand over my own which was holding the hair "but if you insist" He released my hand and hinted for me to let go of my hair, letting it fall down my back. Frank then picked up a hair brush and combed my hair, ridding it of knots and mess. He then parted my hair down the middle and styled the hair so that half was on either shoulder. "I hope you know that this isn't going to last" he purred into my ear. The sound of his velvety voice sent shivers down my spine as I shuddered under his touch, goosebumps blossoming all over my arms. He grinned when he saw the effect he was having on me before giving me a gentle smack on the arse and grabbing me by the wrist, tugging me away from the mirror and out of the bathroom.
I unlocked the door of our apartment and stepped out into the hallway, Frank following not too far behind me. We were both headed out to a friends birthday party somewhere in an LA club. I hadn't gone to many clubs seeing as I found the music to be pretty shitty but I was promised that there was good music at this one so its worth a shot. Frank and I decided to catch a bus into the heart of town today seeing as we were likely to be pissed as fuck when the party is over and crashing a car after a night out was not on either of our bucket lists. We held hands as we walked to the bus stop opposite out apartment, waiting patiently for our bus to arrive.
"SLUT!" Yelled a man from a passing by car, obviously referring to me in my short as fuck black dress, fishnets, black pumps, dark make-up and bright red lips.
"Fuck off asshole!" Screamed Frank as the car sped along the now deserted road.
As our bus pulled up, we stepped inside, bought a ticket and took a seat. I sat closest to the window as Frank wrapped a single arm around my waist, pulling me in closer to him, then moving his arm up and around my shoulders.
"I can't believe it's Gerard's 26th today" I sighed, resting my head on Franks shoulder.
"Time goes quick" he added, giving my arm a bit of a squeeze "I can't believe I'm going to have my 26th next year"
"I can't believe I'm going to have my 25th in September" I breathed "It feels like only yesterday that the three of us were in high school, Mikey, Ray, Gerard, You, Me....."
"Next thing you know we'll be on our deathbeds"
I shrugged away the uncomfortable thought that lay ahead of me. Me? Die? As definite as it was, I didn't want to believe it, nor did I fancy dwelling on the thought either.
Once we had arrived at our party venue, I scrambled through my clutch desperately looking for my ID card so I was able to enter the club in the first place.
"Oh shit!" I muttered under my breath "I left my-"
"No you didn't" chuckled Frank, holding up my card "well.... You did but I didn't forget yours"
I smiled at him thankfully. Where would I be without this man in my life? In some deep shit, that's where.
When we entered the club, the music pulsed and I came to the blissful realization that they weren't playing some awful as fuck Justin Bieber music, but instead some good music. "Thanks for the memories, thanks for the memories" I sang as I stepped into the club, lights flashing and the smoke machines up at full blast.
"FRANKIE!" Called the familiar voice of Gerard. I tugged gently on Franks leather jacket and pointed in the direction of the birthday boy who speed walked over to us, engulfing first me and then Frank in a hug.
"You haven't chickened out, have you?" Smirked Gerard as he stared at Frank.
"No way man" grinned Frank, wrapping one arm around my shoulder and pulling me in towards him for a small kiss on the cheek.
"Wait... What are you doing?" I asked as I brushed my nose delicately on Franks cheek.
"She doesn't know shit, does she?" Giggled Gerard.
"Nothing" smiled Frank.
"What is this?!" I exclaimed, confused about the boys little interaction.
"You'll see" winked Frank as the both of them left me standing alone in a crowded room.
Dammit I'm going to get lost.
