"I shit you not, Kobra. I heard a truck and then I know I saw some one! Come on we got to go check it out!"

"Face it Iero, they're dead in a few days anyway. Dr. D had us clean out the of the rest supplies"

"What ever, do what you want. I'm going looking for them."

Nova's POV

"Watcha doin there kitty" I said to Arcane who mewed at me. I absentmindedly ran my hands over the blade of my sword.There isn't much of anything to do anymore when you've done everything. Secure the windows, exit and entrance, hide the truck in the garage, organize the food rations which about 2/3 of it was way beyond even remotely being eatable.

"You're hungry aren't you?" Arcane pawed at my hand,"Are you?" He mewed and pawed my hand again as if he really understood me.

"I know kitty ,I know"

I know I've got to do this whole list of things I need to do and sleep has not been my friend these past few days. Every time I close my eyes I see the people that I've killed; the things really. I sit here and stare at nothing while my stomach seems like it's going to cave in.

"Alright kitty I'm going Shopping, wanna go?" I put my blade back in the sheath and slipped into my jacket and boots. Arcane runs up to my legs and paws at my bag. I open the bag so he came jump in. "Alright, we're goin on an Adventure" I say as I slide out of the window, landing on the platform strategically made so I can pull it up and down when I leave.

Ghoul's PO
"I knew it! There is some one here!" I almost said way too loud. I mean there another person here! Freaking Kobra, will never believe this. Pft for another ,Party won't believe this.

She looks so familiar,I'm sure I've seen her in a pictures a long time ago.
I sat there and watched her go into a store through the window that was blasted open before I moved in and hid behind a car for a closer look without her seeing me. A black cat suddenly jumps out her bag and explores the place along side her. She checks under and through everything probably looking for food. It's too bad we cleaned the town out. She gathered other tool she could use as weapons. I noticed she had a katana strapped to her waist and a small knife in her boot.

I heard a crash and some commotion from the store and I ducked down then peeked out over the car. I didn't see her so that's when I moved in closer.

Suddenly she as was backing up and tripped on the leg of an overturned table she leaned on the shopping shelve a little too hard,this caused the shelve to give out and she went down with it.

This time I ran into the store not caring how loud I was.

"Hey, hey are you alright?!" I said.

She had her hand on her head, there was blood dripping down from her forehead. She screamed when she heard me."HOLY SHIT YOU'RE REALL!!" She yelled.

"I knew I saw someone following me but I thought it was just a walker! Oh my gosh!" She quickly wrapped her arms around me tightly.

She was mumbling things about being alone at the old painters building. That place was still standing? I chuckled as I stopped her from her rambling and checked the cut on her head. "An, looks like that's gonna need a few stitches."

The girl's eyes went wide as she protested from being touched with a needle. Suddenly the girl worriedly looked around for something. "Did you see a black cat around here when you came in?"

"A cat,no?"

She got up and wobbled around the store calling for the cat. I heard screeches coming from outside. Shit. A small group of the undead were heading this way ,with that cut on her head she'll never get anywhere. Man, Party is going to flip about this. "Come on, we have to go. I'll take you back to the building. It's getting dark."

"No, no the cat. I have to find me cat!" She stumbled around look and calling for that cat.

"We have to go!" I pulled her onto my back and. Started running in the direction for the painters building.

"Arcane! ARCANE!" She touched her forehead again,"Oh god". I felt her head drop, must've passed out at the sight her own blood.

I made it to the painters building just by walking, I guess the undead hadn't noticed us then didn't bother to follow as far as I knew.

Now I just need to find how the hell this girl got into the house. I mean the door was welded shut but there seems to be a platform mechanism placed under the window.

I set the girl down on the floor "Hey, hey wake up we're here and I need you to help me get you inside the that house" I said as I shook her a bit too roughly since she slapped me right across the face as she opened her eyes. She pointed to the rope attached to the platform and motioned that it was to be unwrapped from the hook to bring the platform down.

It took a bit of time to figure out but I finally got it. The girl was still half passed out. I had to get her through that window.

Nova's POV:

Fuck my head hurts. I stirred in my process of waking up to this pain in my head. I slowly opened my eyes to see the familiar furniture of the House. Wait when did I even get back in the house?! I left on a run to look for food, I was in this store and I saw a guy and the rest I can't remember...

"You're awake?" A voice said from across the room.I saw a dark figure hold up a hand as if to say 'I'm not here to hurt you' as they were sitting on the couch. I flinched and reached for my knife that I kept in my boot, my heart dropped when i felt nothing but my sock covered foot.

"Who- what?!" I screened and retreated, "Wait I know you, how did-"

Seeing me stumble to find my words the person scooted over into the light so I could see him. "Well first off, you hit your head pretty hard on that shelf remember that?" I struggled to remember as it was slowly returning.

"So you brought me back here?" I asked.

"Yeah, you've got some neat-ass thingy to get in through the window" ,he said as he pointed to the window he paused as I began to sit up,"I'm Ghou- I'm Frank I mean"

"Ghoul?"

"Well, yeah it's kinda thing we used to have from the resistance.."

"Oh, the resistance?....." I held in a sarcastic laugh,"I'm Nova...."
