There was silence. Now is when I start to feel self-conscious. Three people staring at me it makes me feel like they're judging me. Nope I don't do shit like that. Finally one of them, Gerard I think, speaks up. "Well I figured you wouldn't need us to tell you that you're a vampire now." I almost faint. "Dude!" The kid with the glasses, Mikey, exclaims. "What? I thought it'd just be easier to to tell her all at once" Gerard argues. "Well maybe you shouldn't have-"
"Earth to Way brothers!" the boy I don't know the name of says. Mikey and Gerard stop arguing and look at him. He gestures to me. "oh sorry Frank. You now have the floor" Gerard says. Frank rolls his eyes. "Can one of you guys go get her some more blood" I shake my head. "No I don't want any" I mumble. They look shocked. "But you have to" Gerard says "Or you'll starve" Frank adds "Then die" Mikey finishes. "Oh" I whisper
Mikey leaves the room and comes back with another canteen. He hands it to me and resumes his spot. "So I'm pretty sure you've figured out our names by now" Frank says "So what's yours?" "Lexi" I answer. "Okay" he continues "Now, then yes you are a vampire and you have to stay here because new vamps are usually unstable around humans" I nod. "Question. Movie vampires can do cool stuff. Can we do cool stuff?" Gerard shakes his head "We do not sparkle or turn into ash in the sunlight. We just get these massive sunburns" "And we don't turn into bats" Frank adds "Although that would be pretty badass." The boys nod in agreement" "We do have super speed and strength" Gerard continues "We can't read minds-" "Well you might be able to" Mikey interrupts him in a small voice.
"What?" I ask curiously. "Well you didn't change the normal way." Frank explains "Normally in order for a human to Change they must be drained of about half of their blood then have it replaced by vampire blood." I nod "But every once in a while a human will Change just from having a vamp bite and completely drain them. That's how you Changed" "But why?" I ask.
"Because you're special" Mikey says in a slightly awed voice. "What he mean is that there's this thing about you that triggers it. It also creates this power that usually has to do with the mind" "Our Grandmother was like that" Mikey mumbles. Gerard nods. "Grandma Elena, she could see the future. We never got to meet her though. She died right before our mom was Changed. The hunters got her" "Hunters?" I ask. They nod. "Vampire hunters" Mikey says. Hmm wonder where I can find one of those. I don't want to live like this. I'd rather be dead.
"Wait, vampires can die?" They nod grimly. "Stake to the heart, decapitation, getting burnt alive (A/N vamps are extremely flammable. carry on), of not not drinking blood for too long" Frank lists.
I cough because my throat has started to scratch again. Without thinking I raise the canteen to my lips and down it. It actually tastes pretty good, almost like chocolate which I absolutely love. I could get used to it and Lexi no shut up. No you don't want to live like this as a monster. I have to get out of here.

so next time I update I'll have a explaination on all the things about vampires How Frank was changed all that other stuff so you wont be confused in future chapters. also please read my other fics i think you like them
