Not Knowing You'd Change From Just One Bite
*Gerard's POV*
Its going to rain soon, I think as I stroll through the streets of New Jersey. I was arm in arm with my boyfriend Frank. Suddenly someone pushed past us, nearly knocking me over. "Queers" I hear him say. I growl at him but Frank grabbed my arm warning me not to do anything stupid. Sometimes my anger will get the better of me and when that happens people tend to get their throats ripped out. Seriously.
I look up at the sky again. The clouds were getting really thick. "Gee can we go home now? I'm exhausted" Frank whines. I chuckle. "No, I'm hungry" I tell him with a grin. "Of course you are" he mumbles. I chuckle again. Looking around the street I notice a couple standing in front of a driveway. "Its about 9:30 at night but I can still see what they look like.
The boy was tall and somewhat muscly. He looks about my age. He wears blue jeans and a Metallica jacket. And of course I can't forget the giant fro on top of his head.
The girl was obviously younger and wore a long sleeved Green Day shirt with skinny jeans. Her long auburn hair frames her face and she's a bit shorter and skinnier than me.
"Bye Ray, see you tomorrow" The girl says giving him a quick hug "Bye Lex" The boys says turning around and walking up to his house.The girl starts to walk across the street. I lean closer to Frank "Her" i whisper. He nods and is suddenly gone, disappears to who knows where. I hear the front door to the boy's house shut. Its time.
I run up behind her and tap her on the shoulder. She whips around nearly hitting me with her back pack. "Hello" I say with my seductive voice that I use on my prey. Frank appears silently behind her. "Um, hi?" the girl mumbles. She turns around and almost walks right into Frank. The girl looks at Frank then me then Frank then me then Frank. We smile creepily. "Well then, crap" the girl mumbles.
Suddenly she throws her backpack off at me apparently seeing me as the bigger threat. She starts to run away but nope, Frank grabs her around the waist and lifts her off the ground. She tries to call for help but Frank covers her mouth with his hand. Then we run out of the neighborhood into an ally between two buildings. Frank drops her to the ground and I stand in front of her. Her hair is hiding her face and she's trembling. I actually feel bad for her.
Why I chose this girl I'm not sure. We usually try to feed on people that won't be missed. Homeless people, drug dealers, prostitutes that kind of stuff. But her she has a family. That boy that was with her might have been her boyfriend. But I saw her I just wanted her so bad. I couldn't help it.
I kneel down in front of her. I can hear her quietly sobbing.Damn, I really don't want to do this my throat is practically burning in thirst. Her heart is racing in fear. "Please, don't hurt me" she whisper "I'm sorry" I tell her. I look up at Frank who had moved her hair away from her face and neck. He nods grimly.
I grab her shoulders and pull her towards me injecting my fangs into her neck. Her ear shattering scream is quickly muffled by Frank hand. Some drops of blood drip into my mouth and I suck it in wanting more. This has got to be the best blood I've ever tasted except for Frank's. Her hands gripping my shirt are getting weaker every second. Finally she goes dry and I drop her.
"God, Gee you look like that was the best thing you've ever tasted." Frank mumbles. I smile and pull him in for a kiss. After a second he begins to frantically lick the remaining blood off my lips. He moans and pulls away. "That was amazing" he says. I nod looking down at the girl. Her now pale skin seems to glow in the moon light. Then suddenly I hear it. Thump..... Thump..... Thump..... Thump..... Thump..... I look at Frank and he looks terrified. He must hear it too. Frank put his head to her chest (being the little perv he is sometimes) then comes back up with wide eyes. Her heart started beating again. She might Change. Shit...
