Gee and I came from th park to write the guest list. We have totally forgotten to write it, Jamia reminded us. "Okay, let's start saying names!" Gerard said grabbing a pencil and a piece of paper. "Jamia." "Okay." "Ray, Bob and your brother, of course." "Yep... My grandma Helena too!" He said smiling at nothing. He really loves his grandmother Helena and that was very cute. "Okay, Gerard haha." "My parents, of course." That reminded me of my parents and their reaction when we... well, Gee told them that we are gonna marry.
"Frank?" Asked Gerard distracting me from my thinking. "Yeah?" "We are gonna invite your parents too, aren't we?" I was scared of inviting them, what if they don't show up? "I don't know Gee, I think they wouldn't come." "Frankie, they are your parents, of course they will come. You know what?" I looked at him for him to continue talking. "You are gonna call them right now." Gerard picked up my phone and gave it to me. I doubt for a second but then I decided to call them. Because no matter what happens they still are my parents.
"Yeah?" My dad answered the phone. "Dad, it's me, Frank." I said hoping he wasn't mad at me or something. "Oh... Wait..." Then I heard him shouting (not on the phone) something like 'Someone named Frank is calling! Come and talk you!' Then my mother spoke at the other side of the phone. "Hey, honey. How are you? I miss you!" "I'm fine and I miss you too... Are you two mad at me?" I asked fearing what she would answer. "No, Frank. Love is love you can fall in love whith whoever you want. You can fall in love with a koala if you want to!" With koala... It's like she thinks being gay is something weird. "Mom! Gerard is not a koala! Is a human like me and you, and our love is totally normal, well... maybe more cute, but you know what I mean." Gerard that was sitting on the sofa watching as I speak, looked at me confused, probably because of the koala thing. "Sorry honey, I'm just confused, but I'm very happy you have find love and Gerard seems nice." "I'm glad to hear that... Well, the wedding will be the 2 of April in park near where I live now. Will you come?" "Of course!" She said and I think he seemed happy. "Even dad?" I asked because he seemed to be very mad at me. "Of course, Frankie." "Isn't he mad at me?" "No, he is confused but I promise I will talk to him and you will see him in your wedding"
