Give Me All Your Poison... Ummm No Thanks

It had been about a month since we had come home. We had to go back to school and were able to quickly catch up in the curriculum. Graduation was coming up and we were all happy to be able to get the fuck away from school.

"Okay, well, I'll talk to you late Felix." I heard Midnight in my bedroom, skyping Felix as we got ready for our last week of school.

"Okay, see you!" I heard him call back. He had recovered quite a bit since Marzia's passing and seemed to be happier and happier everyday.

"Midnight?" I walked into the room just as she shit the laptop and stood up. "I'm taking a shower."

"Okay!" She replied simply as she looked around for some clothes. I turned on the water and let the steaming water relax all my muscles. I washed myself before gathering the courage and stepping out, feeling the sheet if cold air as I did.

"My turn!" Midnight rushed in and pushed me out just as I wrapped a towel around myself. I giggled at her behaviour before dressin myself and running downstairs to make a pot of coffee. As it brewed I made some waffles for Midnight. We I flipped the last one onto a plate Midnight came down the stairs and sat at the island in front of me.

"Awe, thank you!" She smiled and kissed my cheek as I layed a plate in front of her with her usual mug of coffee. I smiled before scarfing mine down and washing it out with coffee.

"We should get going. Are we walking today?" I asked as I set the dirty dishes in the sink and turned everything off.

"Might as well." She said as she grabbed her bag and pulled me out the door. I laughed at her enthusiasm as we made our way to school.

It it was a normal, boring day at school. We had our classes then lunch where we sat outside and talked, then went back for our last few classes. It was extremely boring, especially since it was the end of the year.

"Frankie!" Midnight ran into my arms and hugged me while I laughed. She always did this. Chrysalis and Gerard came up behind her with Mikey trailing behind.

"Midnight!" I yelled matching her enthusiasm. I could hear Gerard and Chrysalis snickering as we continued to walk home. "Are you guys coming to my house?"

"Sure." Gerar replied and I smiled. We walked to my house and they all ran in and Mikey immediately started up a pot of coffee. I threw my back pack on the ground and turned back to then.

"I gotta' check the mail, I'll be right back." I yelled as I opened the door again and stepped out. I opened the mailbox and pulled out the mail. It was filled with junk mail, coupons, flyers, bills. One small, pink envelope caught my attention. I walked back into the house and sat all the other crap mail on the island in my kitchen but made sure to keep the small pink envelope close in my hand. I sat on a stool and could feel Mikey's eyes on me as he sipped his coffee.

"What is it?" He asked, curiosity filling his voice.

"I don't know." I said. I flipped over to see who it was addressed to and who it was from. It had my name written in amazing handwriting on the back and no return address. I immediately knew who it was from.

Marzia.

"Who is it from?" Gerard asked as he looked over his shoulder at me while pouring his coffee.

"M-Marzia." I stuttered still astonished. Everyone's jaw immediately dropped. Gerard spilled his coffee, chrysalis practically tripped over herself running in, Mikey just stared at me, and Midnight just put her hand over her mouth in surprise.

I opened it up slowly.

Frank,

By now I'm long gone. I know you weren't expecting this letter because I know you didn't check who the letters I aske you to send were addressed to.

I just ust want to thank tou. For everything really. You helped me, Midnight, Felix, everyone. Frank you are an amazing person and I hope everything in life works out for you. I'll help as much as I can and always watch over you and Midnight. Speaking of Midnight, I need you to take care of her. Please. We both know about her problem and I really don want her to continue that just because I'm gone. Oh, and please help Felix out.

Frank, this is our last goodbye for a while and I hope to see you again. Thank you.

I'm so sorry I toke so long, I just really didn't want to end this, but yes, this is the end.

I really liked this story and the characters I chose because I love and Know all of then, well wxcept Frank and Gerard and Mikey obviously.
