Okay. I have it all ready I'm in an "Ugly" sweater for christamas and some dark jeans and combat boots and a black beanie.
Okay, let's go.
"Bye mom, love you." I say as I pass her towards the door.
"Where are you going?" She asks. Wow she's not drunk or high yet. That's a new record.
"My girlfriends parents invited me to their Christmas dinner."
"Oh, okay. Merry Christmas. " she said as I left.
"You too."
I slammed my door And started the short journey to her house. I had the presents in my pockets and I was dressed up? I think. Okay, let's do this.
I knock on the door.
"Hi Frank." Mr. Summers said.
"Merry Christmas!" I said as I shook his hand on the way in.
"You too."
"Hey Chrysalis, Merry Christmas." I said as I walk up to Chrysalis and wait for my hug.
"Merry Christmas." She said, standing up and hugging me.
"Hey Midnight." I said as I embraced her hug. "Merry Christmas."
"You too." She said as I felt her smile on my neck.
"Hello Mrs. Summers. Merry Christmas. Thanks for making dinner, do you need help?" I call to her through the open window between the living room and the kitchen.
"Oh you too! How sweet, but you stay in there and have a good time watching that movie." She says, smiling at me for my politeness? I think.
"Are you sure?" I ask one more time.
"I'm sure." She said with a wink.
"Okay." I said as I sat next to Midnight.
"Hello everyone." Gerard says as he bursts through the door.
"Hi." Mr. Summers says, clearly unamused by his usual entrance.
"Hello Gerard." Mrs. Summers calls in.
"Merry Christmas." He said in return with a smile.
"Hey sugar." He said as he walked over to Chrysalis.
"Merry Christmas." He said as he kissed her.
I was beginning to understand why they didn't like Gerard. Haha, he was to sassy.

After watching a 2 hour Christmas movie we found on T.V. Dinner wasn't ready yet, so I decided I would go and help Mrs.Summers.
"Hey, what can I do?" I ask her as I round the corner to the kitchen.
"Oh, your so nice, well I guess you could set the table." She says as she points over to all the plates, utensils, and glasses.
"Yes Ma'am." I say as I walk over and start to set the long table.
After I was finished, I still felt bad that she was doing all this by herself.
"Are you positive I can't do ANYTHING else?" I ask as I walk over to her.
"You could start putting these on the table. The turkey will be done in a second." She says as she points down at the 9-10 entrees.
"Okay, no problem." I say as I take to at a time.
Soom Midnight helps me and I ask her what she got for Christmas and she told me all the presents she got. She finished just as everyone started to sit around the table.
"Wow, that's great!" I say and I decided to save the presents for after dinner.
After we had said prayers and eaten dinner we started talking about our childhoods. Well everyone but me since my only childhood was going to school and coming home to watch TV.
"Wow, I wish I lived in Vicenza !" I say as I look down at my empty plate.
"What about you Frank?" Mr. Summers asks. "You haven't said anything."
"Oh, I would go to school then come home." I replied to obviously everyone's suprise.
"Oh Frank, what about coming to the mall with me and stuff like that?" Gerard asks.
"Yeah that too I guess." I reply, remembering that I had presents.
I quickly surveyed the area to make sure everyone was done with their food. When I saw they were I walked around and placed a present in front of everyone.
"Oh Frankie!" Mrs. Summers says. "You didn't have to!"
"But I did!" I replied as I placed Midnight's present in front of her.
"Okay, clockwise. Start with Mrs. Summers and keep going." I said as I looked at Mrs. Summers, waiting for her to open the gift.
"Okay." She said as she opened the card. "Merry Christmas. I want to thank you for everything you've done for me. Making Midnight and Chrysalis, accepting me into your life, and being the caring mother I never had." she read from the card.
She took out the $50 dollar gift card to Macy's I had gotten her.
"Oh thank you Frankie!" She said as she hugged me.
"Okay, Mrs. Summers' turn!" I said.
"With this card I am thanking you for accepting me more then any other father I have ever know and letting your daughter date me. I hope you like it." He reads from the card.
He opens the gift card to see its a $50 Visa card so he can get anything.
"How thoughtful." he said as he got up and hugged me for the first time. "Thank you."
"Okay, Gerard." I say, pointing to him.
"'Thank you. For everything. Being there when I needed you, when I was little for making me laugh, and helping me through rough patches in my life.'" He read.
He then opened the gift card to a $50 gift card to Hot Topic. "Thanks Frank." He said as he came over and we both hugged.
"Okay Chrysalis!" I say, eagerly waiting.
"'Chrysalis, you have been like a sister to me. Your the best. I hope this is enough to thank you for being ther for me and helping Midnight when I couldn't, but I know it will never be enough.'" She looks up and smiles at me before lookin a the $50 dollar Visa card.
She stands up and hugs me and whispers "Thanks" into my ear.
"Okay. Midnight." I say as I wait fornher to open her and she looks at me one last time before opening the card that came with the perfectly wrapped box.
"'Midnight.
You have no idea how much I love you and I don't think you ever will. I got this to thank you for welcoming me into your family with open arms and loving me.'" She looked deeply into my eyes before opening the small box.
"OH MY GOD!!! FRANK ITS BEAUTIFUL!" She yells as she hugs me as hard as she can and she runs over to her parents to show them how wonderful the necklace I had bought her was and then over to Chrysalis. "Thank you, thank you."
"Frank, I think I'm speaking for everyone when I saw that you brought us all together and I know you'll always be my son." Mrs. Summers says as she hugs me then looks into my eyes.
"Thank you." I say, finally being excepted into a real family.

I'm sorry!!! Don't worry, I used to eat practically all divar when I was younger and I made it to 19 so far, so yeah!!! Haha, I hope you enjoy this update.
