Mezzanotte to Midnight
"Mezzanotte!" My mother called to me still used to my Italian name.
"Yes mama!" I screamed back as I sprang out of bed and started slipping on a pair of jeans.
"You have 40 minutes!!!" She called back.
"Grazi!" I scream back happy she gave me a warning for my first day in an American school.
After I get my dark skinny jeans on I throw on a black shirt with peplum around it. After that I ran into my huge bathroom, which was one of the best parts of my new house, and plugged in my straightener. As it warmed up I brushed my teeth then pulled out my makeup and put it on.
After I was finished I ran down the stairs to see mom welcomed me with a cappuccino and a cornetto.
"Grazi!" I said as I kissed mama on the cheek and ran out the door with my favourite Galaxy backpack.
"Chrysalis! Wait up!!! RALLENTARE!!!!" I scream at my sister who was already on her way to the school I didn't know the way to.
"Il tuo modo lento!" She screamed back to me.
"Hey, we should stop speaking in Italian." I joked as I caught up with her.
"Yeah, but I really can't. It's hard!!!" She whined then stamped her foot in frustration.
"Okay, whoever ACCIDENTALLY speaks italian first has to but the other something they want. Deal?" I said in retaliation.
"Fine, deal." She said as we shook hands.
"This might be a long day." She said.
"Hey look! There it is!" I said pointing at the huge building a few blocks ahead.
"Yes. I bet I can beat you!" She challenged.
"Yeah right!" I said as I ran towards the building.
As I reached the front steps and turned around and Waited for my sister to catch up I pointed and laughed at her.
"Oh be quite! " she said heavily as she tried to catch her breath.
"What's your homeroom and first hour?" I asked, since we were twins and were in the same grade.
"Mr....... Ummm...... Kjellburg." She said, having trouble pronouncing the name.
"Swedish guy... Hmmmmm." I said. As I looked at my schedule I was thrilled to see we had an almost identical schedule.
"Chrysalis! We have the same schedule!!! Well beside 6th hour..." I yelled in excitement.
"Yeah!!!" She said as we neared our lockers.

After 4th hour it was lunch and me and Chrysalis were excited to have made a friend!
"Gerard!" I said as he pulled both our arms towards the cafeteria.
"What?" He said adorably as he looked back at me.
"CAZZO!!!" I screamed as Gerard pulled me into someone. He let go of my hand and I fell under the person I had just been pulled into.
"Oh shit, sorry!" He said as he jumped off me and helped me up while a surprised Chrysalis and Gerard stood there.
"Testa di merda." I said. Chrysalis burst out laughing while the guy who bumped into me and Gerard stood there looking confused.
"Oh girls, this is Frank." Gerard said pointing to the guy I ran into.
Merda. This guy was hot. He had amber eyes and black hair. He was a little taller then me but not by much, but he was gorgeous.
"Helloooo?" Gerard said as he waved a hand over my eyes.
"Earth to Midnight!!! "
i flushed a bright pink after realizing I had been staring at Frank for far to long.
"S-sorry," I said. "Can we just got to lunch now?"
