Will You Save Me?
In Your Face.
I open the doors to the gym. I walk in and see that coach is talking to all the girls,I walk over to the group and stand in the back. The next thing I know is hearing,
"LETS PLAY SOME BASKETBALL!" All the girls yell in excitement and run into there teams. I ramdomly pick a team and get in the Cort. Coach blows her horn and that's when someone throws the ball in and girls running across the Cort and out of nowhere the ball hits me right in the face. I fall back and hold my face seeing if that helps the pain go away.....it didn't. I yelp in pain and that's when I hear laughter. I uncover my eyes and see most of the girls laughing at me. One girl with concern comes and runs over to me pulling my hands away from my face looking at it to make sure I'm ok.
"Oh my god! Are you ok?" She says pulling me up and that's when I feel something come out of my nose. I put my hand to it and just what I thought,it's blood. I look up at coach and see she is giggling behing her clipboard. I look at all the girls and see that they and still laughing at me. I run to the locker room doors and push them open, run to my locker and grab my binder and clothes and lock up my locker. Without changing, I run to the nurses office and open the door. The nurse at first looks at me with a smile and then in a second looks at me with shock.
"Oh sweety! Are you ok? What happend Leandra?" She says walking me to the bed.Yes she knows my name because I have came here so many times for her help she remembers my name. Her name is Mrs.Lucy, she is really nice. She props me up on the pillow and runs over to the table where all the medical things are and grabs tons of napkins and hands them to me.
"Leandra, what happend to you?" She says with worry in her eyes. I tell her all that happend in the gym but not what happend in the locker rooms.
"What bitches." She mumbled to the side. I nod my head,that's when a guy limps in the room. He has a black eye, slit lip, and some little cuts on his face. That's when I automatically know that he got in a fight. Mrs.Lucy looks at him and frowns.
"What happend this time Abraham?" Mrs.Lucy said walking up to the guy and lifting up his chin to look at his face.
"The same guys did it...." He said. Mrs.Luck shook her head and took him to the other bed next to me. He turns to me and looks away sitting on the bed.
"I'll be back in a sec, I need to get some stuff for you face Abraham."she says walking out of the room leaving us alone.
