We made it to the car and instantly attacked each other, my hands around his neck in seconds and his holding my waist, pulling me closer across the front seat, the whole time our lips never breaking. He ran his hands up my back and brought them to tangle in my hair, tugging to the curls gently; I moaned into the kiss and straddled him bringing my hands to his chest, which was heaving slightly. I could feel his heart racing and the heat coming from his body. His hands left my hair and went to my thighs bringing up my dress as he traced small circles on my legs before stopping abruptly. He pulled away from me and gave a few shaky breathes before speaking.

“You should call your Dad… let him know you’re going to spend the night at my place, my mom is at my grandma’s for the night. Stay with me, I can’t let you go tonight.”

I mulled his words over in my head before reaching into my purse and pulling out my cell phone, punching in the numbers to call my Dad; it rang a few times before I heard his scratchy voice mutter a ‘Hello?’.

“Dad? I ah… I don’t think I’m going to make it home tonight.”

“Is that so?”

I sighed and adjusted my dress; bring it down to its rightful length.

“Yeah if that’s okay, Frank and I are just going to go to his place and watch a movie, maybe have a few drinks?”

I could hear him smile through the phone and tell my mom I wouldn’t be coming home tonight.

“Have fun Nicole and behave.”

“Thanks Daddy, I will!”

I spoke into the phone, hearing my mom starting to ask questions in the background before my dad ended the call. I sighed in relief and tossed the phone in the general direction of my purse.

“We’re all set.”

I smiled down at him; kissing his cheek, still straddling his lap as he returned the smile.

“Good, that means we have all night.”

His smile turned devilish as I sat back in my seat, lighting a cigarette as Frank peeled out of the school parking lot and drove to his place.

We got into the house and I barely had the door closed when I felt Frank’s lips on the back of my neck, slowly making their way to my shoulder, sending shivers down my spine. He took my hand and led me to his room. His walls covered in band posters, the floor littered with clothes, his guitar sitting in the corner, and his bed occupying the opposite corner; the room was warm and welcoming, a lot like he was.

He pulled me over to the bed and we both sat down, holding hands and sitting in silence; I didn’t know whether to say something or to kiss him, and as my mind was arguing on what to do he decided for me, by kissing me with such a softness I barely knew it happened.

“Stop over thinking everything Nicole, whatever happens, happens for a reason, just let it be.”

I nodded in the dark, noticing then that with all of the lights off; the moon gave his room a surreal glow, illuminating the posters and sending a shadow across his face. I was nervous as hell, and I could feel my palms sweating, but I couldn’t figure out why, I mean I was sitting on Frank’s bed with him sitting beside me, I had no reason to be feeling like this. I shook my head trying to make my thoughts disappear when Frank kissed me once again making my mind forget everything.

We stayed sitting beside one another kissing for a while before Frank gently pushed my shoulder so I was lying against his pillows, his lips never leaving mine the whole descent. He placed himself over me and between my legs, resting himself on his elbows, not letting his whole weight rest on top of me. My hands held onto his shoulders, as he slowly started kissing my neck; small moans escaped my lips as he travelled lower towards my chest, stopping just before he got to the top of my dress and coming back up to my lips.

I started to undo the buttons on his jacket, pulling to off of him, and then tugged at the hem of his shirt as our kisses got deeper and more demanding; he sat up and pulled it over his shoulders and then pulled me up into a sitting position and going to the back of my dress, undoing the zipper inch by inch, kissing me the whole time. I lay back down and he pulled my dress off my body leaving me in only my strapless black bra and matching underwear; he started at me a minute, never seeing me exposed so much before. He then placed himself over me again, his hands tangling in my hair and kissing me with so much desire it almost burned.

“Tell me this is okay, because if it’s not we can stop.”

I brought my lips to his, pulling him closer to me, feeling the warmth of his chest on mine.

“It’s more than okay Frank.”

His hands went to his belt and started to unclasp it; he got off the bed and let his pants fall to the floor, joining me back on the bed, lying so he was facing me. He brought his hand to my face, holding it gingerly and stared into my eyes for what seemed like hours. My fingers traced the tattoos he had on his one arm, slowly moving to his back, bringing us closer to each other.

I buried my face in his neck, leaving trails of kisses up and down; I felt his hands creep their way to my back, and undo my bra, tossing it on the floor behind him; I gasped when I felt his hand cup my breast, playing with my nipple making it harden. I found his lips and slithered closer to him so I was almost underneath him again; my hand scanned the bed for a blanket to cover us, and upon finding a soft quilt pushed against the wall; I reached around him, grabbed it and threw it over us.

I brought my hands to his waist as he continued to explore my chest; I was slowly dragging my hands further down his body until I came to his boxers. I hooked my fingers under the elastic and tugged them down as far as my arms would reach; he handled the rest and left me whimpering when his hands left my body. He found my underwear with his fingers and slowly took them off before coming back up to kiss my lips one last time. Pausing and looking at me; his voice barely audible as he spoke.

“I really do love you Nicole, you know that right?”

“I know Frank. I love you too.”

I whispered into the dark; he kissed me again and started to move against me, making both of us moan into the kiss, my hands grasping at his back. Every nerve ending in my body felt like it was frozen, but ignited with fire at his touch, leaving me trembling for more. He pulled away from my lips and looked into my eyes, moving a strand of hair away from my face before placing himself against me, pausing; asking for permission.

I nodded at him, catching his lips as I felt him thrust into me, sealing our connection.

We lay in silence after finishing, wrapped up in each other naked still; our breathing coming is short gasping breaths. He was lightly running his hand up and down my arm, while I was lying with my head on his chest, feeling it rise and fall with every breath he took. It was my first time making love, and not just having sex; it left me speechless, my skin still tingling and my brain foggy. He kissed the top of my head, and held me closer if it was at all possible.

“I want to stay like this forever.”

I said in a hushed tone.

“Mm-hmm.”

I felt the vibrations of his voice on my cheek through his chest, I lifted my head and looked at him; his eyes were closed, he looked content and almost asleep, I stretched and kissed his lips whispering an ‘I love you’ before laying my head back down and closing my own eyes, letting sleep wash over me, in the warmth of Frank’s embrace, and the sound of the rain hitting the window seeping into my dreams.
