Way Café And The Lonely Booth

I stormed off the the girls' bathroom, full of rage and curiosity. I had a shitty day today, and looking in the mirror, I realized I looked worse than a drowned rat.

I hurriedly searched my bag, desperately hoping to find and sort of beauty product that would help me fix my current situation. I pulled out some red eyeshadow and carefully applied some under each of my eyes. I dug around in my damp bag for eyeliner, and after successfully finding it, I swiped some along each eyelid.

Fuckin' Gerard. Why doesn't he tell me these kinda things beforehand, I thought to myself, wondering if I'd be awkward as fuck while talking to Mikey. I gathered up my things, left the bathroom, and walked over to the café's service counter towards Gerard.

"Gee?" I called while grabbing my mocha off the counter.
"Yeah Rosie?"
"What do I do?"
"What do you mean, "what do I do"?"
"Like, do I just walk up to Mikey and say hi? Do I ask if I can sit down? Do I start ranting about how Batman is cooler than Spider Man?"
"Oh, darling," Gerard sighed, "Just sit down and introduce yourself. He knows that you're coming and what you look like."
"WOAH THERE GEE. How does he know what I look like? And thanks for telling him about this beforehand and not me."
"Do you not remember all of the selfies you took when Ieft my phone at your place?"
"Gerard, why?" I whined like a child to emphasize my point.
"He should get to know what he's in for? But you look a little... different today."
"YEAH, BECAUSE OF THIS MOTHERFUCKING RAIN!" I retorted.

I walked over to my usual booth, which was now occupied by a (not) completed stranger. "Umm... hi. I'm Rose. You're Mikey, right?" He nodded quickly. "Gerard is setting us up."
