I woke up to my alarm clock, again. "GOOD MORNING BELLVILLE, NEW JERSEY!! It's 8:00 in the MORN',Another day of what looks like fog, is actually SMOG! And it's just one of those days, so lets gather up them surf boards because it's time to catch some waves." I hit the snooze button and sat up. I'm all achey, but I think I need some Asprin, I should go to the kitchen and get some. I stretched and went to the kitchen, last night was crazy. Gerard is gone, even though I asked him to stay. Oh well, he has a girlfriend.
"All alone now, nothing feels right, trying to find a way to cope with these feelings that you don't understand but you- AHH!!" I dropped the glass of water.
"Sorry. I went down to get coffee, but I got some for you too. Just how we like them. Black with half a teaspoon of coconut creamer." He handed me my cup, and he kissed me.
"Good morning isn't it? Nice day to go mini golfing, I'm sure LynZ will understand. We're just friends." He smiled and kissed me again.
"Thanks Gerard." I said.
"It's cool. By the way, Reece told me to tell you he said hi."
"No, I mean Thank You,... for staying." I said. He tucked the hair behind my ear.
"It's no problem, I would do anything for a friend. By the way, you look cute without glasses." He kissed me and I took a drink of the coffee.
"Yeah, you, and my parents are the only ones that seen me without them on, I feel really uncomfortable without them on in public." I went to the bathroom and put my glasses on.
"The first official thing you've told me for the past 3 years, that DIDN'T involve work was..." oh goodness. He's asking me.
"My penis is huge." We laughed, and took another drink.
"You really shocked me Frank. I never thought you noticed me that way." He came over and kissed me, and we took another drink.
"I've always been nervous that you thought I was weird." I tucked up my glasses.
"You ARE weird, but that's what made me love you." His hugs were so enchanting for every second he held me in his arms. I can feel the love.
"I'll see you on Monday, okay?" He hugged me again, and gave me a kiss on the forehead.
"You're leaving already?" I am disappointed.
"Sorry, but I have things to do today, and I'm sure that next Friday, you can amaze me with your fine vocabulary filled with words no one uses anymore. But I have something for you, I found it in my old bible, and I want you to keep it." He pulled a paper out from his pocket and left my apartment. I unfolded it and read what was on it.
"This was us, our unbreakable bond we shared. For I, the artist am in love with the local brainsman. My neighbor. My friend. My only hope. Tis' the one I want to keep because our love is scarred deep. If there is some person as mystical and imperishable as him, we could let our emotions pour in front of all who wish to see, hear, and feel. The paper looked worn out, and used enough to where it would break if I folded it, so I took it to the counter to examine it. I got my old framed photo of me and my ex girlfriend I dated in middle school (don't ask) and took that picture out. I had extra black foam I keep in case there was a moment like this, and I measured it to fit the frame.
Once I had it framed, I threw the old photo of myself out, and set it by my bed. I know this quote meant something to him deeply. He must be the artist, and I must be the brains man Shit! He must've seen my spare room that I read my books in. There is SO many books in there, and a comfy chair I use to read in. He could've found it when I was sleeping. But this is the quote I enjoy the most, and it perfectly describes our relationship.
