I woke up facing the wall still. My alarm clock went off. "Good Morning New Jersey! It's a Saturday Morning coming in with cloudy skies at 8:00 a.m, and I hope you had a beautiful sleep because today is going to be a wonderful cloudy day to relax." I hit the snooze button and sat up.
"Sorry about that Gerard. I usually wake up early to go to the book store." I yawned. I didn't get a reply. I turned around.
He wasn't there. I got up and went to see if he was in the living room, which he wasn't. He wasn't in the kitchen either. I didn't bother putting on clothes. I always walk around naked.
"Gerard?" I whispered. I checked all over the house, but he wasn't anywhere to be seen. Then I had an idea. I put sweatpants, and a teeshirt on and went down to the front desk. But he wasn't there either.
"Morning Frank." said Reece. He was the guy who worked the frontdesk.
"Hey Reece.Hey, do you know what time a guy... about 6 foot 4, dark black hair, pale skin went out earlier?" Iasked quietly?
"Oh umm... he was the only one up at the time...I'd say about 5:00 a.m. maybe? That was the time that he got a complimentary coffee, and left without saying a word. Why, are you two dating?" he asked.
"No. We're just friends, and when I woke up, he wasn't there." I whispered.
"Ohh, okay. Maybe he'll come back later. It's okay though, right?" He whisperedback.
"It's cool. Maybe you're right." I smiled, and went back upstairs to the room. Reece was so nice and understanding sometimes, I can trust him with anything.
