Chapter 22
"Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you..." I was sitting on the sofa while my parents were singing me. Then they gave me the keys of a car. "Happy 18th birthday Frank, here are the keys of the car you wanted." They said smiling. "Do you wanna drive it now?" They asked me without stop smiling. "No, maybe later." Without even picking up the keys from my new car, I went upstairs to my room.
It was my worst birthday ever. My thoughts were focused on Gerard. I was sure he have found someone else. I know we had been like 3 months without seing each other... without kissing, but I just couldn't hold that he had forgotten me. And the worst thing is he didn't tell my nothing about it, he just stopped calling me everyday like he used to. I couldn't handle this, I had to know the truth even if it hurt me! I picked up my phone and called Gerard.
"Hey Frank! Happy birthday, dude!" I heard Mikey on the phone, he picked up Gerard's phone, why? "Thanks Mikey! But... why have you answered Gerard's phone?" I asked him. "Oh, he went out with a new friend he made and he forgot his phone." "Oh I see, so he is with a new friend..." "Yes, they have left about three hours ago to celebrate Halloween." But he told me he was gonna celebrate it with Mikey and Ray, he have lied me. "Okay, well I have to hang out. Bye!" "Bye! And have a happy day!" I hunged up. At that moment I was sure he was with someone else. But I had to be strong and don't cry.
Suddenly someone knocked at the door, maybe they were kids asking for candy. So I picked up some lollipops from the kitchen and opened the door. "Trick or treat!" Asked two kids dressed up as vampires. I gave them the lollipops and closed the door.
Five minutes later someone knocked at the door again. I took more lollipops and opened the door. This time it was someone dressed as a skeleton that was a little taller than me. "Aren't you too old for trick or treating?" I asked him without giving him any candy. "Yes, but I don't want the same treat as little kids." He answered me huskily. "What treat do you want?" I asked him curiously. "A kiss." "What the..." I couldn't continue talking because his lips were on mine. The flavour or his lips were very familiar...
"Gee!" He took off his mask and smiled at me. "I've missed you so bad, sugar." Was I dreaming? OMFG I couldn't believe he was here. "How did you get here? You don't have a car." I asked him in tears of joy. "I made a friend who has a car." That guy was only a friend! But... that didn't explain why he stopped calling me. "But... you stopped calling me everyday... why?" "I'm sorry, Frankie, I had been working to have enough money to your birthday present." How could I thought he was with anyone else? He wouldn't do anything like that! "You didn't have to! You being here is the best present I can ever have today!" He looked at me with his lovely eyes. I had been missing those eyes for too many time. "But I had to." He said. "Okay... what is it?" I asked him curiously. "Close your eyes." I closed my eyes and like 10 seconds later I heard Gee saying: "Are you ready?" I nodded. "Open your eyes." I opened my eyes and Gerard was holding in front of me a black little box with a silver ring inside. "Frank Anthony Iero, will you marry me?" "OMFG YES YES YES YES YES!" I started to cry of happiness, I coulnd't believe he was here but mainly that he just asked me to marry him! It was the best day of my life! He smiled at me and kissed me. It was a long kiss. It was a perfect kiss.

I hope you all liked the story because I tried my best on writting it and trying to update everyday. I was always like 'I have to do this and this and... fuck! the story! I have to update!' And then I turn on the computer as faster as I could to write a chapter haha.
