"Gosh i should have learned more Italian before i got here." I think to myself as a ride around in the late afternoon on my little baby blue motorbike. All i wanted to do was find a good club. But my lacking in Italian made this very hard for me. Finally i found a person who spoke english and he pointed me in the direction of a club called Vedi, Vini, Vici. I came, I saw, I conquered. Sounds promising. By that time the sun had set and it was about 9PM. Finally i found the little place and was very delighted to see people streaming in and out and heard music rattling the walls. I park my little bike and pay for entrance. I walk in to see people gyrating to intense trance music. A huge bar lined the back wall with every single alcoholic beverage you could think of. My heaven. I saunter up to the bar and sit on one of the cushioned red bar stools where a bartender had his back to me cleaning glasses.

"Man who do i need to fuck around here to get a drink." I sigh loudly.

The guy turns around and i come face to face with the most beautiful man i had ever seen.

He had hazel, no bright green eyes. He had a black waistcoat on over a white dress shirt on with the sleeves rolled up to reveal wonderfully inked up arms. His hair was gelled up into a mohawk and Damn, i was starstruck.

"Well i've got a list if you want to see it." He smiled slyly.

I look down at his name tag.

"Well then... Frank. I suppose if you don't want me to pay for one i might have to see it." I grinned.

"What can I getcha." He asked, leaning on the table by his elbows. God he was freaking attractive. And thank the gods for a man who could speak English.

"Well have you got anything with alcohol in it?" I joked. He laughed. "I think so but i'll have to check." He responded.

"What do you recommend oh wise bartender?" I ask, looking him over again and again.

"Well Italy is famous for its Wine, so i'd go with some whiskey." He replied a smile dancing around his lips. Was he checking me out too? Oh gawd i hope so.

"Whiskey its is." I laugh and he smiles turning around to fix my drink. As he does so he sways his hips hypnotically. I couldn't help but stare. He turned around with two glasses and sat one down next to me.

"Isn't it bad to drink on the job?"

"Being a bartender is different here." He says taking a swig. "So whats your name anyway?"

"Gerard. I'm visiting from New York with my brother." I reply, drinking from my own glass. He nods.

"Sounds like fun. Lemme guess you needed a break from the stresses of city life, so you came down here to good ol' Rome to get wasted and do things you'll regret in the future?" He said

"Is it that predictable?" I ask giggling. He nods.

"I was the same way." He says, "Then Rome got the better of me and i was stuck here, forever doomed to the lonely job of bartender." Killing his glass he reaches over to get the bottle to refill it. "Where is this brother of yours anyway?"

"At the hotel probably asleep or trying to learn Italian." I respond with an irritated edge in my voice. "He was really the buzzkill of the family."

"What a shame. If he was half as attractive as you he'd have half the girls in Rome by now." He says slyly refilling my glass to the brim. My mouth nearly hit the floor. What just occurred. Dear God, if you even exist, let me get laid tonight.

"Say, my shift ends in about a half hour, wanna stick around and we can head to my place?" He says in a husky voice, looking through me with his eyelashes.

I stared at him in adoration. "Hell yes." I spoke more quickly then intended. He smiles and touches my hand lightly, sending shivers down my spine.

"Good."
