Can't Trust a Girl in Blue

Skylarc had helped move Alek to his room. Echo was laying beside him with her head on his arm, holding his hand tightly as he sleeps some. She only wanted him better, he and Kat where all she had. Thoughts of her mom crawled in to her mind. Her only parent she knew, the one who cared so much for her and Kat. The one, who died in her arms by someone she will always remember the face of. Kat didn't know this man, but Echo did. His coal black hair and chilling smile. Tall, and very intimidating to her. Echo kept to herself who it was, and kept to herself that her and her sister even stayed in his home. Kept to herself that his home wasn't even a home, but something that even she couldn't wrap her mind around. But all that is over, she will never see his face again. A knock on the door, then a man with glowing flame hair walks right in and stares down at her. Holding back his thoughts with his blank expression. They stared at each other for only a second before he turns his eyes back to his reason for entering the room, Alek. "You need to wake Alek. We have to serve dinner soon." His cold voice cut through the air and she stared at him frozen with fear. "W-why are you here Mr. Way?" Echo asked confused and very concerned. He looks back at her with a death stare then lightens and laughs at her before he exits the room, closing the door behind him. Why would her old one room apartment owner help the twins? Before her thoughts could click, Alek moves and stands up. He walks out the door, an obvious zombie of sleep. Echo follows, but Alek only seemed to notice that he was heading the wrong way in his mind, suddenly he turns around and slams into Echo. Turning again and hitting the wall. Falling to the ground and blood coats the floor. Echo screams and Way comes out from a hallway with Skylarc right behind him. They both look down and realize that he didn't just have a broken nose, but his skull was busted open very close to his temple.

"What do you want to do with him? I don't think you can fix a broken skull." Asks Way as he looks at Skylarc.

"I guess I'll have to try." Replies Skylarc plainly. Then reaches for Alek, but Way stops him by just bringing Alek over him shoulder and heads to the operation room.

Skylarc looks at Echo. "Go back to your room, your sister must be worried by now. I'll fix your boy, don't worry." Echo is confused by his concern for her, but she nods and heads for her room.
