Lulu's pov.
My bed felt so good. Even though it was my first day at Belleville High, I wasn't getting up till 7:00. I had already packed up my books, and I wasn't planning on showing up an hour before or anything.
I was just about to drift back into sleep when I heard my dad.
"Lulu, you're gonna be late for school!"
Oh crap! I sat up and looked at my clock. Ugh! It only says 6:15! I yell back: "No I'm not! I could have gotten almost another hour of sleep!"
Well, I decided I might as well get up. I went to the bathroom and got dressed. I wore my royal blue jeggings and my sparkly butterfly top. I picked my black studded high tops for the day. Since I had time, I straightened my hair and got my bangs to cooperate for once. I ran down stairs, had some breakfast, grabbed my stuff, said bye to my mom, and left.

My family and I moved to Belleville NJ at the beginning of the summer. My mom is in business and her office, for some unknown reason, got moved here from Chicago. Gosh, I really missed the city and my big high school of over 4000 kids. Being a bit of a wallflower, I didn't try to make new friends during the summer. Instead, I emailed my two best friends, Katherine and Azure. They worried about me and thought I might not make any friends. I also spent my summer researching what there was to do around here. Through my searching, I found this really cool band called My Chemical Romance. The band members are in their teens like me. I thought they were amazing, but let's just say Katherine wasn't a fan. I just really wanted to meet them.

I got to the school at around 7-ish, but school didn't start until 8. I went inside to get my schedule and any other pointless junk I "needed." I realized that there wasn't any chance of me getting lost. This place was tiny! It was only about a fifth of the size of my old school. I went back outside after going to the office and saw that some other kids had started to arrive. I tried to avoid everyone looking at me, noticing that I was new. I just sat under a tree, put one my headphones, and listened to some MCR. I tried blending into my tree, which I realized was going to be hard with all the sparkles in my outfit. As I mouthed the words to "Thank you for the Venom" (yeah, I know, I'm weird like that), I noticed someone was watching me. he was smiling and looked familiar. He had pale skin, short black hair, and stunning hazel eyes like mine. His eyes were rimmed with black and made them pop. And then realization hit me. This angel was Gerard Way! The lead singer of MCR! Wait... was I actually singing aloud? Could he hear me?! Oh my god, how could I be so stupid?!

I felt my face heat up slightly and saw him chuckle. Well, I did want to meet him. I mentally told my nervousness to shut up, and got up to go talk to him.
