"Hey, Gerard!" Frank called after him as the bell rang.
"Frankie." Gerard laughed.
"What's so funny?" Frank asked, pouting.
"We got caught, before" Gerard replied with a wink, making frank giggle.
"You wanna come over?" He asked frank, hoping that they could at least get some privacy.
"Sure!" Frank replied eagerly, and grabbed Gerard's hand, making him blush.

"but what I'm saying is, batman is a much.." Frank trailed off, worried.
"What is it, Gerard?" He asked Gerard, scared of the look on his face.
"Gerard?!" Frank asked again, urgently this time, but Gerard didn't reply. Frank began tapping him, hoping to get his attention. Finally Gerard noticed and his eyes were alarmingly wide; full of worry.
"F-Frank. He's there. We need to leave." Gerard hissed urgently, peering down a dark alley just to their left.
"Who's there? Why? What?" Frank questioned, scared by the urgency that was clear in Gerard's voice.
"Run!" Gerard hissed but he knew it was too late. Berts shadow was already clear in the light.
"Gerrard" he heard his deep voice purr. "Got a new boyfriend eh? Replacing me?" He hissed menacingly, glaring at frank. Frank felt so annoyed then, he wanted to punch him, but instead of hurting the stranger that was threatening them, he grabbed Gerard's hand and pulled him all the way back home. Gerard didn't let go, not even when they were safely in franks room, breathing heavily. Gerard was so pale it scared frank to look at him, so instead of questioning him on who the man was, frank just squeezed Gerard's hand.
"I'm sorry." Gerard whispered, eyes concentrated on the floor.
"What for?" Frank asked suspiciously.
"You'll understand one day." Gerard smiled sadly and then looked up into his boyfriends eyes. What frank saw shocked him. Just through Gerard's eyes he could see all pain
he had felt. He could see the sadness beneath his attempt to hide the depression. On the outside frank saw a mask. He saw what Gerard wanted everyone to see. But studying his face clearly he could see underneath that mask. He could tell that Gerard was upset and was silently screaming for help.
"Gerard" frank whispered softly. "What did I say? You look more beautiful when you smile." He told him, carefully watching his face. Gerard looked confused for a split second but then he grinned. He felt happy. He felt loved.
"Thank you Frankie." He smiled and curled up into franks shoulder. Frank began stroking his hair gently, soothing him.
gerard soon fell asleep, tightly clinging to franks hand. Before frank closed his eyes, he planted a soft kiss on Gerard's head and whispered, "I love you."

Sorry for not updating for ages, I've been feeling really shitty recently so fanfiction wasn't the biggest of my worries. I might not update that often anymore, idk I guess it depends. It was only because my best friend read this and wanted an update that motivated me to write a new chapter. Thank you for the comments and subscribing and shit.
