All The Good Girls Go To Heaven
Bloody is the Coffee
The night went on as if nothing had occurred. We arrived home to find that no one besides us had actually gone out tonight. Ray asked if we wanted to watch a movie and showed us a large stack of DVDs. Most of them were horror. Gerard picked out one with an interesting title. It was but one word,
“Saw”. The cover depicted a girl with an impressive looking torture device on her head, as well as a quote. “How much blood would you shed to stay alive?”. I think I’ll enjoy this movie.
“I’ll make popcorn!” Frank said excitedly. He’s certainly become a happier person since high school... or maybe not. He’s a good actor.
Screams emanated from the small T.V. speakers. We were watching Dr. Lawrence Gordon saw his foot off in a desperate attempt to free himself from his shackles. Since hearing his family was in danger, he had gone completely insane. I find the Jigsaw Killer’s motive to be quite interesting. He’s trying to save people by nearly killing them. Most don’t survive. It gives the ones that do a greater appreciation for life. There is but one flaw in his plan. People don’t want to be saved. If they did, would they not take it upon themselves to make life better? Ah, to understand a movie killer. They’re nothing like the real thing.
“Awesome movie. I liked the part when it ended...” Bob said, obviously scared that a creep in a pig mask would come to take him and make him play a game. He checked every corner of every room, including all of the closets before he went to sleep. All of the other guys went to sleep right after that. I crawled into Mikey’s bed after another hour. It was cramped, but comfortable. I needed the time to write in my diary. Yes, I’ve got a diary, why do you care? I like having every memory written down before me, so I can relive the good times I have. However, since I’m sharing a room with Mikey, I write it in code.
“Dear diary,” I started.
“Today Gerard, Frank, and I went out to walk around town to find a good place for coffee. It was nice. We stumbled upon a wonderful girl, who gave us our coffee for free! She ended up tying some coffee beans on a string around herself, creating some kind of silly necklace! We can’t go back to here house, though, because she left to visit her dear uncle’s grave. They’re going to be spending a lot of time together.
Goodbye for now,
Jillian Skylar”
There. That should have him oblivious enough if he happens to find and read it. If he doesn’t happen to believe it, well, it’ll just be my word against his. Mikey’s arm snaked around me again, pulling me in close. He wasn’t awake to be embarrassed about it this time. I enjoy being this close to him. I’m eternally grateful that he passed the house on Cemetery Drive that day. I owe him my life.
