Can I be the only hope for you?

“Ah, here comes the couple. Come on, I want to watch damn movies now!”

I laughed at Frank’s words. Honestly, he was totally like a kid. Sometimes, you just feel that you want to hug him tightly because of his cuteness. But of course, I won’t do that. He will think that I fall for him. No, no. Gerard ignores Frank, which is unusual because he will always shout at Frank when he’s being such a kid. He quickly went upstairs and I realized that Mikey was not there with us.

“Is Mikey okay? Gerard seems worried about him”

“Arianna, that’s Gerard. He always takes care of Mikey. Fyi, Mikey was just fine. He’s playing game in his room. I’ve known Gerard for years. When he loves someone, he will be like now. Speaks of the devil” Frank said as I heard Gerard yelling upstairs.

“Fuck you, Mikey! I’m half dead worried about you and you’re here playing games?! Get your ass of the room now! Arianna’s here!”

I looked at Frank and laughed. I never see this part of Gerard. But, who doesn’t love his own brother? If I have one, maybe I will react the same like Gerard too.

“And let me tell you one more thing” Frank whispered in my ear.

Hearing those words made me turn to see Frank sits really close to me on the couch. I try to avoid from him but if I move, our lips will probably touches each other.

“Gerard act the same way when it comes to you”

I looked at Frank with a confusion look. What the hell is he talking about? Why would Gerard want to take care of me as much as he’s taking care of Mikey? I can take care of myself. I don’t need his help. I want to ask Frank when suddenly someone poked him hardly until he fell from the couch. I turn back to look it was Gerard. His face slightly turns red. Is it hot in here? What is going on? Why does he do that to Frank? I gasped. No, he’s not jealous right?

“What the fuck, Gee?!”

“I invite you to watch movie, not making movie”

“It will be good if I can be an actor”

I laughed at Frank when he suddenly acts as a serial killer. I looked at Gerard and expected he laughed too, but he just standing there looking serious and went to the kitchen. I looked at Frank and he shrugged. He ignores me and started to check on movies DVD when Mikey came downstairs and jumped on me.

“Arianna! I miss you!”

Mikey hugged me tightly until I felt suffocated. What does he mean by he missed me? I just met him yesterday. We work at the same place!

“Mikey, you better let her go or I’ll break your new video game!”

Gerard came with two large pizza’s boxes in his hand and stares at Mikey. Mikey looked at me with a confuse look.

“Arianna, do you want something to drink? Coke maybe?” Gerard asked me. I just nodded, not knowing what I should say after he scolds Mikey.

“Frank, what’s going on with him, dude? He spoiled my mood” Mikey frowned.

“He is just being a fucking retard because I’m going to kiss Arianna just now.”

Mikey’s mouth half open when he heard Frank’s words. I was so shocked and quickly hit his shoulder. Frank laughed so hard while Mikey was still blank, he doesn't know what is going on. I forced Frank to tell the truth.

“Okay, the kiss was a lie. The jealousy was true, dude”.

My eyes get bigger after heard Frank and I smacked Frank’s chest. He looks hurt for a second but then he burst in laughter together with Mikey. I just can’t take it anymore with these two crazy people. I went to the kitchen to check on Gerard. He was there sitting and seems like he were thinking about something deeply because he didn't realize I’m coming.

“Well, looks like we already have the drinks. Should we bring it in front?”

“Fuck, you scared me!”

I laughed at him. Tonight seems the best night ever because I keeps on laughing.

“You laugh a lot tonight. I’m happy to see your laugh. Don't you know that you are beautiful?”

Gerard said softly almost whisper and looked through my eyes. I quickly stopped laughing. I avoid his eyes contact and start to pick the drinks in front him when suddenly Gerard grabbed my hand.

“Arianna, can I asked you something?”

Gerard took my hand and gesture me to sit beside him. I can feel that my heart beats so fast until I can’t even breathe properly. What does he wants to know?

Gosh, this will be a long night for me.
