Chapter 7
Sorry, Mikey's stomach fucked up really bad. Need to take care of him first. Will be there within 5 min. xoxo -g-
I smiled at his text. We are friends for almost three months. Jane was right. Gerard was really nice. Surprisingly, I love hanging out with him. He make me feel alive again. He help me to get a part-time job at Mikey's workplace. I really love my job. My world filled with musics. Mikey was totally different from Gerard. He don't talk much and look very innocent for the first time. But as time goes by, he can be much worst than Gerard. Believe me, you don't want to know how bad he can be. Within three months also, I know lots about Gerard. He loves drawing and that's his job. Being a freelance artist for those who need his talent. Gerard and Mikey also have a friend called Frank, which for the first time I met with a guy who have a lot of tattoos and piercings. They always hang out together at Frank's basement, do a band performance and for sure forced me to be their only audience. Since I know them, I start to laugh a lot and smile a lot. Yeah, I'm changing.
I glanced at the clock. It passed 10 minutes but Gerard still not here. We're going to have a midnight movies at Gerard's house. I'm lying on my bed and still thinking about my relation's growth with Gerard. I still remember how embarrassed I am when I realized that I'm in Gerard's arm.
"Uhh..Arianna? Are you okay?"
I know Gerard was confused with my actions. Fuck, I'm also confused with myself. What the hell just I did? I hugged him. And still I hugged him tightly because I'm too scared to face him. I can feel my face burning in red and obviously I don't want him to see me like this.
"Arianna" Gerard called me softly and hold my arms to keep a distance between us and make me faced him. I avoid his eyes quickly but I can see he's smiling. Oh, he saw me blushing! It cannot be hidden anymore. Obviously he can see it on my face! I just want to hid!! He put his hand on my chin to make me face him once again. And he said with his beautiful smile still on his face,
"Wanna be friends?"
"Arianna, I'm home!!"
Jane. She always shout when she got back from work. She gave me 100% support when she know I have started be friend with Gerard. I know she want the best for me and I'm trying to give my best in this friendship. This is the beginning.
"Is Gerard here yet?"
"Oh, someone have a date apparently"
"It's not a date, Jane! Gerard invite me to his house and watch movies with Mikey and Frank"
" Wow, interesting. A date with little brother and friend"
"It's not a date!"
I heard Jane's laugh so hard outside my room. I know she doesn't believe that Gerard and me are just friend. Jane have this stupid idea about Gerard, who was totally in love with me, which I don't agree at all because Gerard never said that he loves me. He asked me to be friends with him, not as a lover. Wait, what the hell? Am I expecting him to said that he loves me? No, of course not. We're just friends. I still in love with Leo. Leo. He hasn't came in my dream since I know Gerard. Or maybe I'm too tired with my part-time job until I don't realized that I dreamt Leo. I flipped my sleeves to see the old scars started to fade. I missed Leo right now. It seems not right at all. Being friends with Gerard, Mikey and Frank had made me forget Leo. I laughed and smile a lot nowadays, is it okay? Am I starting to forget Leo day by day? No, I still remember him. How can I forget the one that I love? I just trying to move on, but not forget him. His love still here in my heart. Gerard is just a friend. He doesn't give me anything weird feeling. Or is he? I started to love his smile. His smile makes me calm. His smile makes me happy. His smiles makes me thinking about him. Wait, WHAT??? No, Arianna! This is absolutely wrong!
I keep fighting with myself about what is right and what is wrong, suddenly I heard bell's ringing. Gerard! He's here!
As I opened the door, there he is standing handsomely in black sweatshirt with black skinny jeans and black converse shoes.
"I'm sorry, I know I'm late. Are you ready?"
I nod and smile.
"Jane!!!! I'll be late, so don't wait for me!"
