Bob walked us down the hall to the band room and when we got there I didn't see anyone. Bob walked over to the drums like usual, but then I saw her.
"Bob you crazy fuck, she isn't imaginary!" I faked shock at seeing her. "Hi, I'm Gerard and this is my boyfriend Frank."
She smiled and waved awkwardly, slowly standing up from the drum kit.
"Um, hi, I'm Sky. It's nice to finally meet you Gerard, Bob wont shut up about his best friend."
She leaned in closer to Bob as if he was protecting her from something we didn't know about.
"Aww Bobert, you talk about me?"
He just flipped me off. "Sky, do you wanna talk to Frank for a sec babe? I need to talk to Gerard about something real quick." She nodded and smiled, then started talking music with Frank.
Sky seems like a cool girl, perfect for Bob. Apparently he's teaching her drums, she has shoulder length flamengo pink, sky blue and purple hair that's layered with a side fringe. She's quite short, shorter than Frankie! He's 5"4, so Sky must be about 5"0, maybe 5"1? And she's really skinny, even for her height, and that scares me.
"Gerard did you hear what i said?"
"Yeah man, music store afterschool with Frank and Sky. Totally listening."
"Then why are you standing there gawking at my girlfriend."
I pulled him closer so I could whisper.
"Because Bob, she's too skinny even for her small height. I don't even know her and it's scaring me."
His face turned sad.
"Trust me Gerard, I'm working on it, okay? I don't want to rush her by trying to fix everything at once, I'm working on little things with her for now. But trust me, it fucking scares me too."
He looked close to tears so I hugged him until he felt better. I knew the other two were wondering what was going on, but Bob wouldn't want either of them to see him this worried. Frank would want to get too involved trying to help and Sky would feel bad.
When Bob was normal again we asked the others about afterschool and they both wanted to go check out some new albums that were just recently released.
Sky had full lips with a ring through the left side of her bottom lip, two rings in the right side of her nose and when she tucked her hair behind her ears I could see that they were both pierced all the way up. Her eyes were icy blue and her nose was small and cute. I can see why Bob likes her in that sense.
She was wearing a baggy Iron Maiden shirt with the sleeves ripped off and safety pins through it at random places, a black longsleeve underneath it, red super skinny jeans and knee high black converse.
I also noticed while she was talking to Frank that she kept fidgeting and looking down a lot, barely talking. Is she shy?
Either way, I hope to get to know her better, if she'll let me. I don't have a lot of friends, and she seems really cool.
