*Mikey"s POV*
I stood in front of Gerard's room, clutching the doorknob tightly. I took a deep breath, but decided to turn away. 'I can't do this...' I thought to myself and sighed. I had wanted to talk to Gerard about everything at school, but lately Gerard had been avoiding me. Usually we always had our talk after school, Gerard always understood my problems. I walked back to the living room. Suddenly there was a gust of wind and my brother was standing next to me. "Gee? H-how did you get here so fast?!" "You wanted to talk?" Gerard stated simply. My mind was racing with things like, 'What the fuck was that?!' And 'What's wrong with that guy?!' I nodded. "How did you know?" "I... Uhh... You just looked like you wanted to talk..." Gerard stuttered in reply. I looked at him like he was a looney, but decided to let it rest. "Yeah, I wanted to talk to you. Why are you ignoring me?!" Gerard shook his head at that. "I wasn't ignoring you, Mikey." "Yes you were!" I yelled at my brother. Gerard turned away at that. He left the room in a flash with a muttered "No I wasn't." I sighed and sat on the couch with my head in my hands. What had happened to my sweet and caring brother? The brother I loved, in nothing but a brotherly way, or so I swore from the beginning. I only loved him in that way right? Right? Oh great, now I don't know what to think of my god forsaken brother anymore. I sighed again. I heard the door and looked up. "Hi mom." I said dryly as she shook off her wet raincoat. Instead of answering, she sat down next to me and looked me in the eyes. "Mikey, I want to know what’s going on with you and Gerard, and I want to know now." I hung my head slightly. "I don't actually know, mom, I just don't want him to ignore me..." I got tears in my eyes and looked up. I really wanted my big brother to be there for me, not to ignore me. My mom sighed and got up. "Well, them there's no option left but talking to Gee..." I watched her walk away to his room. I got up myself and walked up to my room, not noticing I was crying.
*Gerard's POV*
I heard a soft knock on the door and placed my drawing and my pencils on my desk expertly. I walked to the door, kind of hoping it was Mikey. It ended up being my mom and I sighed. "Hey mom." I said dryly and sat back on my chair. She didn't reply, she just sat on my bed. "Gerard, I want to know why you're avoiding Mikey, you got him very upset." She looked down slightly, which made me feel very bad about it all. Suddenly my ears caught the faint sound of sobbing, it sounded like it came from Mikey's room. "Mom, you know it’s hard to sometimes control... Well, you know what I mean. And with Mikes... I don't know what it is, with him it’s even harder..." I hung my head and mom nodded. "Do you think there's a reason behind that?" I asked her. "There's a reason for everything honey, sometimes it just needs to be found." She said and then she hastily left the room, leaving me alone with all my doubts.
